Chris Bassett is in search of peace.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard often disagrees with her husband when it comes to her feuds on the show. Her longest feud to date has been with Ashley Darby. And things got so bad that Candiace isn’t on good terms with Michael Darby either. And Chris Bassett has had some heated moments with Michael as well. So when it comes to group outings that include the husbands, Michael hasn’t been around much on the current season. Ashley recently admitted that Michael isn’t interested in being around Candiace and Chris. He’s still not past the butter knife incident, as well as his own altercation with Chris during the previous season.
Regardless of all the tension, Chris really wants to move forward. He told Ashley that he would like to be in a better place with her and Michael. He’s also told Candiace that he doesn’t think Ashley is all that bad. And he really wants Candiace to leave what’s happened in previous seasons in the past. However, that’s not easy for Candiace to do because Ashley really upset her when she wrote that character statement on behalf of Monique Samuels.
On the upcoming episode, Karen Huger and Ray Huger have their vow renewal ceremony. Chris tries and fails to make peace with Michael. And Candiace is irritated that Chris wants to move forward. So they have a heated conversation.
