There has been a lot of criticism surrounding Porsha Williams’ engagement to Simon Guobadia.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has been promoting her new spinoff. “Porsha’s Family Matters” will focus on her new life since leaving the show. She’s now engaged to Simon Guobadia. And RHOA fans know he was married to Falynn Guobadia. Last season, they made an appearance on the show. Porsha even went to their house a couple of times. And producers labeled Falynn as Porsha’s friend. So it seemed messy for Porsha to now be set to marry Simon. However, Porsha has denied ever really being friends with Falynn. And Simon accused Falynn of cheating with her assistant while they were still together.
While there are people who support the relationship, others have been critical. Regardless, Porsha denies being the cause of Falynn and Simon’s split. But she realizes that the optics don’t look all the great.
On the season premiere of “Porsha’s Family Matters, ” Drew Sidora makes an appearance at Porsha’s 40th birthday party. And she has an awkward moment with Simon. When they discuss the first time they were actually in the same place, producers get a little shady with their flashbacks. But regardless of all the backlash the couple has been receiving on social media, Drew makes it clear that she just supports Porsha being happy.
