Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard have a long history of drama.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Candiace Dillard and Ashley Darby have feuded for years. But fans know that things only worsened after Candiace’s altercation with Monique Samuels. For Candiace, Ashley committed the ultimate betrayal by writing a character statement for Monique. In the statement, Ashley discussed the butter knife incident. And she alleged that Candiace has a history of provoking people. All the charges were eventually dismissed. While Ashley claimed she just wanted to keep Monique out of jail, Candiace thinks this was Ashley’s way to get even. On the current season, they have clashed a lot. And a lot of insults were thrown around.
Ashley didn’t like Candiace calling her “wide-bodied” after she gave birth to baby number two. She also took issue with Candiace’s past tweets. In the latest episodes, Ashley called Candiace out for calling Michael Darby an overseer. She also seemingly called Ashley a slave.
She clapped back at this season’s insults by saying Candiace’s hair is dry. In the past, she’s called Candiace “hamster face.” Then, of course, their husbands don’t get along either. At one point, they nearly came to blows, too. Interestingly enough, some fans are wondering if they called a truce after filming the season 6 reunion. And part 3 may have given them a little more credibility.
Candiace actually defended Ashley when Nicki Minaj came for her. While some fans loved this, others did not. And Candiace had some things to say. Plus, Ashley showed some love.
