Martell Holt has received criticism for the demise of his marriage.
“Love & Marriage: Hunstville” star Martell Holt is no stranger to controversy. When viewers first met him, they believed he was one half of a power couple with Melody Holt. However, it was revealed he had been unfaithful. He had a mistress that had been around for five years. So Melody struggled to trust him to be faithful. After she gave birth to their fourth child, she began to suspect he was cheating on her, again. According to Melody, he would leave the house often at the beginning of the pandemic. She decided it was time to officially pull the plug on the marriage. She would later learn that Martell’s former mistress, Arionne Curry, was pregnant with Martell’s fifth child.
On the current season, Melody and Martell have been clashing over their split. At times, Arionne is brought up. Martell also hasn’t been comfortable with the baby being discussed. He even told Melody he didn’t want to really talk about the child with her on the show. At the reunion, Martell and Melody were both placed in the hot seat. And fans of the show have been very critical of what’s been revealed two parts in. Martell receives a lot of backlash for his actions on and off of the show.
Interestingly enough, Carlos King revealed that Martell worried that he would be fired from the show after he and Melody divorced.
