Martell Holt and Melody Holt’s divorce was controversial.
Melody Holt decided it was time to walk away from Martell Holt. When it comes to the former couple, “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” viewers watched their marriage fall apart. For Melody, she could no longer deal with Martell’s infidelities. She suspected he was cheating again at the beginning of the pandemic. He left the house often, telling Melody he was headed to the gym. So Melody filed for divorce. Martell recently had a fifth child with longtime mistress, Arionne Curry. Although many fans of the show have called Martell out for this, Melody has received criticism as well. And some feel Melody played a part in the demise of her marriage.
Martell has blamed Melody for their marriage problems. In fact, he told Dr. Heavenly Kimes that he cheated because Melody wasn’t pleasing him in the bedroom. And since she wasn’t, he wasn’t wrong to get his needs met elsewhere. Martell has also expressed the marriage could have probably worked if Melody would have agreed to an open marriage.
Interestingly enough, Maurice Scott and Marsau Scott’s brother shared more controversial opinions on social media. And he questioned if it’s possible that Melody pushed Martell to cheat.
