Destiny walks in on Martell’s photo shoot.
Martell’s friend Neville and his manager Melneka have a photo shoot of sorts set up for Martell. He’s dabbling in modeling now as a new business venture. He calls Destiny jokingly asking for baby oil. Martell is posing for a potential calendar spread. He and Melneka discuss the Holt kids recently becoming authors of a children’s book.
Later on, Destiny walks in shocked to see Martell in a tub. They go off to talk and notice that Martell’s manager is also named Mel. Martell lets Destiny know she’s the “first Mel” in his life. Destiny then tells Martell about the contentious conversation she had with Melody. Martell tells her that Melody only wants “yes girls” around her.
Melody gets advice from Stormi.
Meanwhile, Melody visits her friend Stormi at her factory. Melody’s looking for advice as she’s relaunching her skincare line. She appreciates Stormi giving her advice and calls her a real friend. Of course, things get tense when Melody brings up Martell’s infidelity allegations that were brought up at the reunion. Melody has no regrets about saying she didn’t remember if she “orally pleased” another man after she separated from Martell.
Melody says that she wasn’t going to address that with Martell at the reunion regardless of what happened. She doesn’t owe him anything. Lastly, Melody invites Stormi to her sleepover. Stormi gets suspicious when she learns Destiny and LaTisha weren’t invited. Melody says it’s not happening because Destiny wasn’t loyal and talking about her to LaTisha. And her friendship with LaTisha is over.
Oddly enough, Stormi doesn’t feel Tiffany and she feels like she’s weird.
Miss Wanda questions Marsau, again.
Speaking of LaTisha, she’s at her office with Marsau. Miss Wanda stops by for a chat. Wanda is going to run a food truck and unbeknownst to Marsau, he and LaTisha will be investing in it. Despite his frustrations with being surprised, he wants this business to succeed. Of course, during their conversation, Wanda tells Marsau he threw Maurice under the bus.
She then asks Marsau if he ever rented an apartment with Martell. Marsau tiptoes around the question, asking why Wanda cares. Wanda says she doesn’t trust him anymore. LaTisha speaks up, telling her mom that she’s not going to let the rumors hurt her or her family. And she believes Marsau has been truthful.
Meanwhile, Jaylin gets a visit from Kimmi and Maurice. Surprisingly to them, Jaylin asks about the infamous photo Marsau posted on social media. Maurice tells Jaylin he has nothing to worry about. Marsau was trying to be funny. Jaylin then asks if Maurice cheated.
Kimmi tells Jaylin that infidelity isn’t something they worry about in their marriage. Maurice believes his relationship with Jaylin is good enough to withstand the rumors.
LaTisha’s cousin makes Kimmi uncomfortable.
It’s the night of Melody’s gathering and Stormi is the first to arrive, followed by Tiffany and Brittney. The event is a sleepover and each guest is wearing matching black pajamas and has their own sleeping tent. Kimmi’s shocked to see LaTisha’s cousin Keke. During the party, Kimmi is asked about the photo Marsau posted. Stormi then asks if Martell is using the drama as a way to deflect attention away from him.
Overall, Kimmi does her best to respond to their questions. She doesn’t believe Marsau backstabbed her and Maurice. But Melody thinks Marsau was intentionally being messy.
Melody then brings up her tension with LaTisha. She asks Keke if she saw anything that would prove the cheating rumors to be true. Keke says that there were rumors about Marsau before Melody and Martell said anything on the show. And there was a time when LaTisha questioned if there was any truth to what was being rumored. But she now trusts that Marsau is being faithful.
In a green screen interview, Kimmi takes issue with LaTisha being discussed like this at an event she wasn’t invited to.
Stormi and Tiffany have tension.
Later on, Tiffany pulls Kimmi aside to talk about the allegations Kimmi threw out at the reunion. Tiffany explains what happened when she left her job with the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce. Kimmi then lets Tiffany know she has no hard feelings towards her. She just wanted Tiffany to be as transparent as she was asking everyone else to be.
Stormi and Melody come over as they’re talking and Tiffany’s uncomfortable talking about this around her. Tiffany goes on to tell Stormi that asking her about a job she left 5 years ago is like asking Stormi about things that happened when she was 12. This doesn’t sit well with Stormi and she walks away irritated.
