Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton have been clashing.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss said that her blowup with Marlo Hampton was short-lived on the current season. While it’s unclear what led to their heated moment, both women said they were in a good space weeks ago. In fact, they hashed things out while they were having a bite to eat. However, it seems as if Marlo may be reigniting their feud on social media. Not too long ago, she took issue with Kandi’s comments about her La’Archive fashion event. While Kandi was on “Watch What Happens Live,” Andy Cohen asked if she thinks the venture will succeed. And how much she believed it could work out if at all. Kandi made it clear that she wasn’t so sure about Marlo’s tactics being effective from a profit standpoint.
In response to this, Marlo clapped back on Twitter. And she accused Kandi of only receiving a small percentage from royalties for hit songs she’s written. Plus, she also said that Kandi’s hits were composed with many other writers. Kandi thought Marlo’s clap back was weak and inaccurate. However, she didn’t seem to let it bother her too much.
However, Kandi is not feeling the recent comments Marlo made about her when she appeared on Carlos King’s podcast recently. So Kandi went all the way in when she was asked how she feels about what was said in that interview.

Ah, now I remember why I never really liked Marlo. She goes very low way too fast and she defames people like it’s nothing. Everyone knows how much Kandi does for black people. And if you don’t know, it’s because you don’t want to. There are other things to criticize. But don’t make something up. Marlo has let her peach go to her head.
I’ve had my complaints about Kandi over the years, but I can honestly say that it’s really obvious that a lot of these women and their supporters are truly jealous of her success. And what made me annoyed the most was Marlo said that Kandi should have taken them to New York and showed them how to open a restaurant and produce a play. She sounds lazy and ignorant. They all have the same exact platform. If they haven’t maximized their opportunities, that’s their fault, not Kandi’s. Marlo also expects Kandi to do all these things for black people when she doesn’t do much herself. Kandi is an excellent philanthropist. We just saw her refuse to fire her black employees during a pandemic that put a lot of black folks out of work. Shut up Marlo.
Marlo isn’t loyal to anybody. I don’t understand why her a-s even has stans.
The crazy thing is Kandi has given some of her biggest haters jobs and they still hate her. I’m talking about NeNe, Porsha, and Marlo! Gave Kim a song too! Has Phaedra’s back and look how they ended. The only loyal person to her is Kenya!
Kandi has done more for Marlo than NeNe ever has but Marlo continues to come for Kandi unwarranted to keep NeNe happy. NeNe didn’t even want her to have a peach but Kandi did.
Kandi does a lot for the community and always has. Marlo is so unnecessarily mean.
