The ladies enjoy their final moments in Napa.
Jackie and Heavenly have a little chat after Quad is sent back home. Jackie questions if they can “elevate” Sweet Tea like they did Quad. While Heavenly isn’t sure about this, the women still look forward to the rest of the group’s time in Napa Valley.
Toya plans a day at the spa. Tea, Jackie, and Heavenly spend their day enjoying a meal out in the fields. Jackie tells Tea it’s time for her to stop “whining” so she can fit in with the group. In a green screen interview, Tea says it’s clear that the older women aren’t that open-minded. And their views reflect this at times.
It’s a new era.
The husbands discuss Kema. They feel he has very outdated views. Alicia says he believes men and women are supposed to have certain roles. This is why he didn’t know how to watch the children while she was away. They hope he will mature with age.
Toya and Simone ask Phaedra if she’s open to ever getting married again. She says it’s not something she wants to do a second time. Things with Apollo ended so badly that she’s at peace living alone.
At dinner, the ladies congratulate Toya on a successful trip. They see how passionate she is about expanding her wine business.
Quad is also discussed. Everyone feels asking her to leave was the right thing to do. Toya hopes Quad’s time away will help her grow as a person. In the meantime, the ladies believe they have found great chemistry with Tea, Alicia, and Phaedra.
Tea receives some upsetting news.
Heavenly leaves the Napa trip early to see her daughter graduate from high school. Since she’s going to FAMU, she pushes Heavenly to call her sister Denise who happens to live in Miami. Heavenly breaks down and makes the call. She leaves a voicemail asking her sister to call her back soon so they can rebuild their relationship.
Sweet Tea visits a doctor that Simone connects her with. She finds out she has fibroids and Endometriosis. So she may only have a 50 percent chance of getting pregnant. She breaks down in tears as she processes the news. Tea will find out her options soon. In the meantime, she calls Gregory to tell him what she found out. And he tells her not to stress out about having a baby. He believes everything will work out.

Shocking that a woman of Sweat Tea’s age hadn’t had a check-up sooner! She promised Greg a child so she appears to be a fraud promoting something she’s not able to do! She didn’t seem to be shocked either! Poor Greg probably won’t take it that way since he’d be alone again if divorced! 😉
Agreed. I find it hard to believe that she had not had a checkup before now and knew what was going on with her body. She promised Greg a child and now what will she do? Usually women get a pap once a year and certainly with her working for the government and with her benefits she was going to an Obgyn? It just seems strange that she was not aware before she met Greg through his DMs. I just think women typically get their routine check ups and know these things.
I really wish y’all would read books or do research before you write ignorant comments on here. It’s always black women thinking the worst of other black women smh. She didn’t fake anything and a lot of black women have been in her position. Fibroids and Endometriosis happen to be heath challenges most black women will experience in our lifetimes. A pap smear does not detect either and ultrasounds are expensive procedures that most will not do every year. The positive thing is she found out what was happening to her body and now she can get the treatment she needs to get pregnant. Why are you being negative? Weren’t y’all just dragging Jackie for being insensitive about black women’s pregnancy journeys? Do better please. Painful periods are normal for most of us. Everyone doesn’t assume they have a serious health condition due to painful period symptoms. Hopefully this will make others be more vigilant.

Right. Pap smears are for the cervix. It does not check for fibroids and unless they are large cant always be felt during exam. Doctors dont order ultrasounds unless clinically necessary

Pray without ceasing. I’m rooting for you. There is no home deep enough that the Lord can’t pull you out of. You will get pregnant. Trust the God who made you and overcame the world. Zachariah also struggled to get pregnant, the Lord sealed her lips for a year so she won’t say anything negative about her getting pregnant. The Lord blessed her with a child. Never stop believing. Do not give up!
