Mia questions Juan
Robyn and Juan go on a double date with Mia and Gordon. They take a cooking class to learn how to make pasta and catch up. In a green screen interview, Robyn says Juan has been looking for work but he hasn’t had any success. So she is opening another business – Glo 30 – and opening up the franchise will give them a financial cushion.
Mia asks Juan about the hotel room controversy. He sticks to the story of going to the hotel to pay for the woman’s room because she lost her wallet. Mia tells Juan he could have called the hotel and given them his credit card information instead of going there in person. Juan says he made a mistake but it won’t be a next time. Mia comes to the conclusion that Juan and Robyn have agreed on their story and they are sticking to it.
Wendy talks to her mom about Nneka.
Wendy talks to her mom about her feud with Nneka. Her mom denies knowing Nneka. She says she called Nneka’s cousin Leba because she used to be close to Wendy’s sister Ivy. And she was upset about them falling out. Wendy’s mother recalls telling Leba that it’s easier to make an energy than to make a friend. But she never said anything about Nneka because she’s never heard of her. But the only shrine she knows is the Catholic one in Boston *****.
Gizelle and Grace take a self defense class ahead of her move out day for college. It’s really hard for Gizelle to emotionally process all of this. However, Grace is confident she is ready for college. And Gizelle can’t deny this.
On the way to meet Nneka, Candiace calls her mother Dorothy. She says she had her first mammogram done. They found three lumps but the doctor said they were Lymph nodes. Dorothy tells her to get a retest.
When Candiace and Nneka get to their table, Wendy is discussed. Candiace says she hopes Wendy and Nneka will be able to hash things out one day. Nneka isn’t sure this is a possibility. And she suspects she and Candiace could have been great friends if Wendy wasn’t in the picture.
Mia copes with past trauma.
Karen invites all of the ladies to a charity event for rape victims. Mia tells Gordon this event will be triggering because she hasn’t come to terms with her own trauma. She’s never even told anyone. It’s a really emotional moment when one of the survivors performs a heartfelt song. Robyn, Candiace, Ashley says they had their own experiences in green screen interviews. For Ashley, it was a family member.
The moment become a bit much for Mia. She gets up to head to the restroom. Ashley follows her. Mia tells her story. She says Jacqueline left her and Jacqueline’s boyfriend at the time assaulted her. So she may have subconsciously taken that out on Jacqueline over the years and she was very mean to her.

Mia knows she has taken it out on Jacqueline and she knows Juan and Robyn are lying. Karen’s event proved that the ladies know how to behave, lol. It was a sobering experience. Nneka is trying to hard to have heat with Wendy. Giselle is boring. Candice is overly dramatic about everything. Robyn is the weak link.
Snoozer episode. Very hard to have empathy for Mia….from what she and Jacqueline her now non friend….they shared everything leading one to assume this includes men. Now she wants to again throw Jacqueline under the bus 100 years later for a story line. It’s clearly apparent that she has lost interest in her husband who threw his family overboard for this troll. Robin is boring as dish water and has dragged Juan in a situation to have to appear on screen to be questioned by Mia because the household needs the paycheck. Gizelle has NO STORY LINE PERIOD. I don’t care about the Nigerian fueding story line
This show has some underlying issues THAT sit like an elephant on the screen. Earn the paychecks you signed up for or reboot the series. BORING AS HELL
Doesn’t Mia have enough stuff going on in her personal life? She has the nerves to be all up in someone else’s business. Husband finances isn’t what they used to be so she’s jumping ship. She’s such a disgrace. He should’ve left her money hungry self in the strip club
