LHHATL Recap: Spice Feels Gaslit about Karlie + Karlie Vents About Failed Relationships

Karlie cries about her failed romantic relationships.

The episode begins in Canada as the group continues their cast trip. Zell is in a van with Bambi, Karlie, Amy, and Renni. He vents about his best friend Paris getting on him for moving out to Atlanta with Saucy, saying he moved in with a [bleep] who didn’t want him. While it hurts, he knows it’s the truth. Meanwhile, she vents about her relationship issues. She breaks down crying, saying that she feels that no one in the world wants her.

Later, Yandy calls Mendeecees. Mendeecees didn’t join Yandy on the trip to Canada, and he’s still mad at Yandy. He tells Mendeecees that she’ll still need to fight for their relationship, although Yandy feels giving her sister her egg shouldn’t mean this much.

The group learns of the history of an indigenous tribe in Canada.

Later that night, Renni planned a meeting with the local indigenous tribes to learn more about the natives of the area. They learn about how the Canadian government put the tribe into a reservation and took their lands. The meeting goes well as they learn of the similarities of oppression this tribe went through compared to the history of Black Americans.

At the end of the meeting, one of the tribe leaders prays for them and has tribe members play their ceremonial drums. The prayers seemingly broke Karlie down into tears.

After the meeting, they lighten the mood by heading to a bar. Here, they recap what happened, including seeing Karlie get emotional. While at the bar, Yandy gets Rasheeda’s advice on handling her drama with Mendeecees. Meanwhile, Karlie gets Zell to avoid talking about Saucy for the rest of the night.

The next morning, the cast prepares for a day of curling on the ice. Although Zell is hosting, he showed up late. Despite this, everyone participating has a good time learning a new sport.

Kendra’s willingness to be around Gloria pleases Joc.

Back in Atlanta, Joe is hosting his field day in honor of his mom. Hoc has many of his family members and kids in attendance. Gloria is supposed to attend, much to Kenda’s ire. Fortunately, Gloria only dropped off their daughter, who her siblings immediately embraced. The event was a success, and Joc appreciated that Kendra was willing to be in the same building as Gloria, even though she wouldn’t speak to her.

At the hotel, Spice informs Bambi that she worked with Scrappy on a song. Bambi asks if Scrappy is dissing her on the track and if she can even understand what Scrappy is saying, which leads to laughter. Next, Spice feels Yandy is messy when she says she wants Spice and Karlie to perform their hit dancehall song again.

Spice feels Gaslit about Karlie and wants to leave Canada.

This makes things once again awkward between Spice and Karlie. Bambi uses the moment to attempt to get Karlie and Spice to see eye to eye, bringing up what happened in the Bahamas. But Spice can’t admit that things got physically violent between the ladies the last time, which leads to Karlie leaving the group. Spice feels everyone is egging her about her situation with Karlie, referring to Karlie’s situation with Sierra.

Things break down to the point that Spice is crying, and Yandy has to console her. On returning to the hotel, Karlie vents about Spice not taking responsibility for their actions. Meanwhile, Yandy tells Spice she still likes Karlie and needs to get over herself. But Spice is ready to leave the trip.

  1. Kendra is really being a good sport about Joc for the sake of his youngest daughter. I don’t like it either when someone doesn’t hold themselves or other people accountable for their actions or their apologies they don’t mean or show how truly sorry they are. If Spice chooses to leave so be it. I get why Mendeecees is angry at Yandy. If you only think about yourself and not consider seriously how your partner feels you need to evaluate that.

  2. I get that Spice has been hurt but she’s doing a bit too much! Yandy, you made a vow to Mendecee, not your sister/cousin! He comes first, nor her! I applaud Kendra for putting her big girl panties on. Gloria is a groupie. I tell you what, I don’t care what they go through – Joc better keep his sausage in his pants to everyone but Kendra!

  3. Spice do us all a favor and LEAVE ….We know Karlie can be MESSY but this woman came all the way to DR when you were in the hospital…so people be in the same town and won’t go visit a friend in the hospital and you treat her like this….You won’t FRIENDS that will KISS YOUR A**

Yes , you are so right , Spice is a spice we are all sick of she’s aggressive and should’ve been put off the show with Erica , Shecania kissed her butt following her around like a hungry puppy that’s why she got a hiatus from the show , Karlie Redd , Spice ain’t worth all your tears let her blue on out of your life

  4. TIRED of.the Fake Tears. Take responsibility for your part of the Drama. Stop playing and being the victim of your circumstances. You cannot treat people badly then blame your childhood for how you act today. Maybe a reality show is not for you and maybe you need to seek counseling for your past Drama and release it. As a former First Lady said
