Robyn Dixon confirms she will not return for the next season of “The Real Housewives of Potomac.”
Fresh off the final installment of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion premiering, Robyn Dixon removes all speculation regarding her return for season 9. Previously, it was reported that Robyn was not given her cherry blossom. At the time, a reason was not given, although many fans, fed up with the suspected colorism and treatment of Candiace Dillard Bassett and Wendy Osefo, wanted her gone.
Well, today, those fans seemingly received their wish. In a statement to People, Robyn confirms the rumors. She tells People she will not return for next season, calling it a firing.
“It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugar-coat the situation the situation and say, ‘Ooh I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This is a network decision.”
Robyn wanted to wait until the season wrapped to confirm her firing.
Later in the statement, Robyn lets readers and her fans know she’s okay with Bravo’s decision.
“I’m okay with it because nothing lasts forever. I’ve had a very long run on the show, and I just really appreciate that time and the opportunity that I had on the show,”
Despite rumors of Robin’s dismissal from the show coming out the same day as Candiace’s departure, Robyn waited to confirm. She wanted to wait until the season 8 reunion finished airing. In a statement made on her “Reasonably Shady” podcast Monday Morning, she wanted to wait until the appropriate time to announce her departure, respecting the network.
“…I wanted to respect the network and respect the show and wait until the season ended, which I think makes sense.”
Robyn and her husband, Juan Dixon, were part of the original RHOP cast. The couple appeared on the show for eight seasons. The two had multiple controversial moments during their time on the show, including Robyn being grilled by Andy Cohen. Andy, on “Watch What Happens Live,” asked her why she refused to speak about Juan’s infidelity rumors. Juan also decided not to appear during this season’s reunion, so Andy called them out.
Good riddance. Robyn and Juan only have themselves to blame.
Robyn’s husband is going to be her continued down fall. He has caused so much damage and embarrassment to her and her family… she needs to open her eyes and let this man go. He’s disgusting and disrespectful to her and he really feel for her. It was time for her to leave the show.
Agreed. The constant excuses and the way he said that he did not want to be with her in the first season. They literally recorded him saying this is enough. He needs to be with the laundry mat woman or the one that he gave money for room. He continues to be disrespectful.

Now Robyn want to respect the show and network? Where was that respect when she was hiding Juan’s “alleged” cheating 🤔? We all believe she was waiting for Karen to expose them. Juan was just being a “friend ” to hotel lady, laundry mat lady, and nail shop lady because he can go and do things with other women, just not Robyn.
Juan made appearances with 3 other women but refused to show up for reunions with his wife. Robyn’s is not being smart about him and her and Giselle get away with different rules. They can both go.
