Michael Rainey, Jr. was violated during a Twitch livestream.

Power Book II: Ghost” star Michael Rainey, Jr. has been a hot topic on social media for hours due to a disturbing story. The actor joined the live streaming session of popular Twitch user TyTy James. TyTy’s sister also happened to be at his home while they were streaming. During the video, the young lady can be seen walking up to Michael. Although some children are seated in front of her hands, it is apparent something is happening. Not long after, Michael starts to hunch over and look very uncomfortable. Fans felt his reaction indicated that he was groped. Michael later left TyTy’s place with his friends. He discussed the uncomfortable moment on Instagram Story.

Michael wrote, “At this point, everyone has seen the video circulating online. I am still in shock and don’t fully know how to process what happened last night. This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way. I can’t take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed.”

The actor continued, “The fact is, sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status. We’re all human, and we should respect each other. Most importantly, we should always respect ourselves.”

50 Cent rubbed people the wrong way with an Instagram post.

Interestingly enough, Michael’s boss 50 Cent didn’t appear to take the matter seriously on Instagram.

In a now-deleted post, 50 reposted a headline about the situation and attempted to deny that it was sexual assault.

He wrote, “Wait sexual assault from a male perspective this was an aggressive advance. LOL HE’s fine no charges are being pressed.”

Before TyTy apologized to Michael for his sister’s behavior, he originally told his Twitch supporters that his sister only reacted that way because she hadn’t been around a celebrity before.

Many “Power” fans took to social media to call out TyTy and 50 Cent, as well as TyTy’s sister. They feel the situation only showed it is not taken seriously when men are victims of sexual assault.

  1. Why is 50 Cent speaking as Michael Rainey’s parent. He’s not the one to decide whether charges shoud be filed so stop speaking as if you’re his parental. The woman is old enough to know better, so uncouth! Girl bye!

  2. Something is wrong with that young lady. Hes right if it was the other way around he would be crucified. I think some women actually believe that men are okay with that type of behavior and that what she did was bold and sexy or something. She obviously has no respect for herself in addition to not having any respect for him
