On the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Rasheeda and Jasmine get to the bottom of things. Plus, Lil’ Zane realizes his marriage is on the line after his family makes messy revelations. Here are the highlights for, “What’s in a Name?”
Rasheeda thinks it’s time to talk to Jasmine again.
Yandy meets with Rasheeda to give her a rundown of her recent conversation with Jasmine. She confirms Jasmine alleged that Kirk was using their son to sleep with her behind Rasheeda’s back. Jasmine also showed the text messages to Yandy and Karlie Redd.
Rasheeda mentions that Jasmine showed up at the car event Kirk planned recently. When people tried to show Rasheeda the texts on Jasmine’s behalf, she refused to look at them. Rasheeda believes Jasmine should have been woman enough to show Rasheeda the text messages herself. Regardless, Rasheeda understands that the best way to get to the bottom of things is to talk to Jasmine. Yandy urges Rasheeda to do better than she did with Samantha. She’s disappointed it took them so many years to get along and learn how to co-parent peacefully.

Amy makes her move on Scrappy.
When Rasheeda sits down with Kirk for answers, it’s confirmed he deleted his texts to Jasmine before Rasheeda could see. Kirk says his policy is to delete all negative texts but he didn’t cheat again. Regardless, Rasheeda plans to meet with Jasmine.

Karlie’s latest boo TLo proposes to her at the music video premiere party he planned for her. But Yandy and Amy question if the chemistry is there for the couple. Amy tells Karlie and Yandy that she’s been spending time with Scrappy. So she’s getting even with Bambi for dating her ex of 12 years ago. Yandy wonders what this means for Erica Dixon.

Zane’s family makes messy revelations to Ashley.
Lil Zane throws a barbecue for the family in hopes that his wife Ashley can get answers about a child that could potentially be his. He cheated on Ashley with Michelle but they never got a DNA test to confirm the child is Zane’s. This was about 8 years ago and Ashley wants closure.
Zane’s mother believes the child is his. She reveals she was at the hospital the day the child was born and she named him, too. This upsets Ashley because she never knew this. Zane’s father then says that Zane was with Michelle when he started dealing with Ashley. Ashley is devastated.

Kirk and Rasheeda meet with Jasmine. Rasheeda asks to read the text messages from Jasmine’s phone since Kirk deleted his. She’s not happy with what she sees. Kirk doesn’t feel like he did anything wrong. A frustrated Rasheeda decides to talk to Jasmine alone. Jasmine thinks the issue can be solved if she can cut Kirk out of the communication loop and only talk to Rasheeda. Or they can set up a group chat. Rasheeda thinks these are absurd ideas. She ends the conversation and walks away.

What are your thoughts on the episode?
I’m not impressed with Karlie Redds engagement. I know Rasheeda is no where near interested with Jasmine’s relationship and I wouldn’t either steady messing with my man. Who does that?
Rasheeda should leave Kirk. She knows that he is lying and that Jasmine is telling the truth. She should be mad at him not her . Kirk will always be a cheater
Kirk was stuttering every time Rasheeda asked him a question, they too d*** old for all this TOXICITY….I am still convinced this is a fake storyline set up by Kirk and Rasheeda to come to us with the BS.
I feel that even though it’s a hurtful thing for Rasheeda; she should have a set-up with Jasmine to deal with the care and concern of the little boy because I don’t believe Kirk is not going to keep it respectful and above board 😡

This Amy chick is really pissing me off crying over this dude that she didn’t have anything to do with in 12 years. It’s giving psycho and jealous at this point. If I was Bambi and Amy messed with scrappy I would put paws on her and someone needs to give her a reality check PERIOD

Fake storyline or not regarding Kirk, Jasmine, and Rasheeda, there are many men who feel entitled to a woman’s body after she gives birth to his child and use that as leverage as to how much he will do for that child, if she is not intimate with him. Rasheeda needs to open her eyes up to the kind of man she married.
