On the season premiere of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” the ladies have questions about Karen’s DUI but it’s Mia who ends up in the hot seat. Here are the highlights for, “A Crash Course in Deflection.”
Gizelle checks on Karen.
Karen’s car accident is fresh on Gizelle’s mind. So she invites Karen out for breakfast at one of her favorite spots. Gizelle brings up Karen’s recent DUI and DWI charges. Karen says she can’t say much at the moment due to the legalities of it all. But she acknowledges that she hasn’t been doing well mentally. She is grieving her parents but marital issues with Ray haven’t helped. Regardless, she doesn’t think Ray is to blame. But she wishes she would have prioritized her mental health sooner.

Gordon puts his foot down.
Mia and Gordon meet up and watch the kids play as they discuss co-parenting drama. Gordon moved into Mia’s building so the separation would be easier on the kids. However, Mia says this setup has made it harder for her to have her “sneaky links.” She is still spending a lot of her time with her childhood sweetheart Inc. Her boo Inc. wants Mia and Gordon’s son Jeremiah to get a DNA test so the identity of his father will be confirmed. Inc believes Jeremiah is his son.
Gordon doesn’t think Jeremiah needs a DNA test and suggesting such is insensitive to a child.

Jacqueline puts Karen on blast.
Gizelle plans a birthday get-together for Karen. It is hat-themed. One of the cocktails offered is a non alcoholic beverage called the Grand Dame. Karen catches the shade. What she does miss though is Jacqueline told the others that Karen allegedly called her drunk days after her car crash.

Gizelle and Karen call out Mia.
Mia’s situation with Gordon and Inc. is discussed. Jacqueline supports her romance with Inc. She says Gordon and Mia’s marriage was more of a business relationship. When it’s confirmed the marriage lasted for 11 years, Gizelle says 11 years is pretty long for a business relationship. Karen isn’t buying this either since Mia has Gordon’s kids. Karen points out that the biggest issue she had with the whole ordeal was that Mia and Gordon’s kids weren’t protected amid all the accusations and allegations that were made especially since Jeremiah’s paternity was the main topic.
This upsets Mia. She doesn’t think this is fair o say because she thinks all of this is on Gordon and not her. Gia strongly disagrees. She points out that protecting the kids means Mia wouldn’t have mixed Gordon and Inc. at all.
It becomes too much for Mia.
Mia says she has no control over other adults so it’s not fair that Gizelle and Karen are placing blame on her. She then breaks down in tears and questions why the ladies wanted her to stay in an “abusive” marriage. She gets up to head to the restroom and the camera crew follows. Wendy stays behind to tell Karen and Gizelle they crossed the line. The episode ends on a cliffhanger while Mia cries in the restroom.

She’s definitely a narcissist and I’m tired of her.
Great premier episode especially after watching that BOARING Rhony premier. I know Mia a lot but I love me some Mia b lying.
Those were the fakest tears ever! I thought the same thing like well dang switching up on the kids real fast, her moving on is fine I just feel she should have left the kids out of it for a while 🤦♀️
