Phaedra Parks reacts to Toya Bush-Harris’ recent conversation with Apollo Nida.
Phaedra Parks did not enjoy filming the current season of “Married to Medicine.” Ahead of the Season 11 premiere, it was rumored certain cast members brought Apollo Nida and his wife Sherien Almufti around. The biggest rumor was that Dr. Heavenly Kimes invited them on the cast trip behind Phaedra’s back. The report said that their appearance led to a lot of drama. Phaedra made her decision to leave the show after that. She has since made her return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Fans will see Phaedra reunite with Porsha Williams in the upcoming season. Frick and Frack are back.
The upcoming episode of “Married to Medicine” will highlight Phaedra’s frustrations with her coworkers’ interest in Apollo’s personal life. In a preview, Phaedra and Apollo discuss his recent run-in with Toya Bush-Harris.
“Yeah it was brief,” Apollo says.
Phaedra thinks Toya made it more than it was, “Yeah, ‘cause she was acting like it was super long and you told her all this information.”
Producers show headlines discussing cheating rumors surrounding Apollo’s marriage. One report alleged that Apollo texted another woman about making a baby.
Toya possibly asked Apollo about this when she saw him.
“No, she just asked me a couple of little things about my marital affairs and stuff like that,” he says.
Phaedra responds, “How nosey.”
During a green screen interview, Phaedra expresses annoyance with Toya.
“I think it’s really messy of Toya to be all in his business like that. Whatever he does, I don’t want to hear about it. I don’t want to know about it,” she says.
Meanwhile, Toya tells producers that she doesn’t feel like what she did was messy. In her opinion, Phaedra has been too private.
“I’m not being messy. I know y’all think I’m being messy but honestly, Phaedra is real guarded. We don’t know much about her and we’ve been trying to get some secrets out of her for I don’t know how long.”
Phaedra hasn’t been married to Apollo for 7 years. Why does Toya care about his marriage? Why is she so interested in him? Yes, Phaedra is very guarded. But why would she be expected to know and discuss her ex husband’s personal business? This is weird.
