RHOP viewers are fed up with Mia Thornton and Jacqueline Blake.
Mia Thornton is receiving backlash from “Real Housewives of Potomac” fans due to how things unfolded during this season. One major complaint is how Mia is handling her separation from Gordon Thornton. She claimed peaceful co-parenting has been the priority. However, her romance with Inc. has only made that harder. Then there is the other fact that Gordon wasn’t the only person who struggled to make things work Mia’s way. During a past episode, Mia’s daughter told her she couldn’t marry Inc. So Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger‘s point that Mia’s actions weren’t in the best interest of her children is starting to seem less harsh as the season continues.
To no surprise, RHOP fans have been vocal about wanting Mia to depart RHOP. They are tired of Mia’s life being the focus of the season. They are also frustrated with how Jacqueline Blake has settled into this role of constantly defending Mia’s actions when others hold her accountable. The latest episode also showed that the cast feels the same way viewers feel about Jacqueline.
Mia Thornton addressed the Essence article.
Essence Magazine recently posted an article that addressed the situation. The writer said that Mia has not been entertaining to watch. And frankly, they shudder to think how this will affect her children when they are old enough to learn about what was shared on “Real Housewives of Potomac.” In particular, it was jarring that the paternity of Mia’s son became a topic thanks to Inc. filming tense scenes with Gordon.
Mia did respond to the article from Essence which has since gone viral. One of her followers wrote, “Essence Magazine ate you up, babe.”
Mia didn’t see the article as being “eaten up.”
She replied, “Nope. It was an honest ‘OPINION.’ I actually appreciate it.”
