Sweet Tea continues to be tested on “Married to Medicine.”
The current season of “Married to Medicine” hasn’t been easy for Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford. As we reported, Dr. Gregory Lunceford nearly came to blows with Quad Webb‘s boyfriend King during the couples’ trip. In response, Tea and Gregory left the trip early. Greg also decided to file charges against King. This offended Quad. During the season finale, she expressed that she doesn’t want to be on the show with Sweet Tea and Gregory. The situation made it challenging for the rest of the cast. They weren’t sure how to move forward. Quad insisted it was time for them to choose. With Quad being an OG and Phaedra Parks departing, Sweet Tea doesn’t have much support.
Sweet Tea did introduce newbie, Dr. Mimi Sanders, to the show earlier in the season. Mimi was there to support Sweet Tea in Key West. But she has since been shady in her green screen interviews. So some fans have been telling Sweet Tea that Mimi and her husband Steve Sanders aren’t her real friends.
Well, Sweet Tea had some interesting things to say about Mimi when one of her Instagram followers said Mimi is not to be trusted.
Sweet Tea responded, “We were never real friends. They were cast, and we were asked to invite them on to the show. There were even plans for me to film in her office, which I refused. I heard it through the grapevine that they wanted to have a storyline with me seeing Mimi and painting me to be crazy. Funny how some call themselves ‘real friends,’ yet plan an entire season without even consulting you of what the plans are.”
She continued, “I chose to go my own route and film what was authentic to me – not anyone else’s storyline. I think when I took a different approach, people didn’t know how to handle it, so they grasped at anything to create a false narrative against me.”

First I would not have wanted to b on a show with husband ex wife but G came on there to make Quad jealous and having a young wife but don’t c y Quad would b jealous of her. Hope Tea /Greg leave show

Quad has absolutely nothing to be jealous of that would be Greg who can’t stand to see her happy and thriving. It’s funny how people forget quad was a pharmaceutical rep making very good money while she was with Greg and she did not need him with the problem is is Greg still loves quad and just can’t admit that to himself and that’s OK. People go through that but if he’s married, he needs to focus his concerns on his marriage and his wife. If we were recall, quad came in welcoming sweet tea and she also said I think she is a perfect mate for my ex-husband. She didn’t say that with any Matt and Gregory was just writing a check his ass in cash because he noticed he was jabber joining and looking around as if the other husbands were going to have his back he was straight rude and wrong and disrespectful and I admire King standing up for his woman as any man should!
You should tell the truth. Quad got her pharmaceutical rep job through Mariah. She married Gregory to be on the show. Quad is not self made. That is why she will do whatever is necessary to stay on this show. Her own friend Funky Dineva said Quad cannot afford to keep her house without the show. So why are you Quad supporters so cocky? You know what’s funny though? Sweet Tea and Gregory actually make six figures independently without this show. They are giving Quad a storyline so be grateful.

I think Sweet Tea and Toya are the only 2 authentic ladies in the cast. They are not as supported by the other ladies and it is unfortunate. Quad instigated the event and her “boyfriend ” is delusional to think Dr. Lunceford should quietly accept Quad spewing nonsense about her ex-husband. The cast members seem to think Dr. Greg is hung up on Quad but I don’t think so at all. It seems like Quad is possibly hurt that Dr. Greg moved on. I mean why would she bash her former relationship if her current relationship was sooooo great! Something seems off with Quad and King (wasn’t her dog named King?). Anyway Sweet Tea is amazing. Total and Eugene are amazing. The others IMO are immature, clickish and silly. Petty Dr. Jackie is a real mean girl who hides behind Dr. Heavenly. As the older women in the group, they should be embarrassed by their behavior towards Sweet Tea.

A person watches a reality show. Then when they see a messy divorce has taken place on said show, the person reaches out to one of the ex’s with interest in them FINANCIALLY. The ex agrees to date and then marries the fan/stranger. The fan/stranger and their new sponsor RETURN to the same reality show despite the other ex still being a cast member. Everyone is able to coexist. The next season the ex has their new suitor on. All he’ll breaks lose. But the fan and sponsor want everyone to believe that they are completely innocent without an ounce of malicious intention.
Long story short, Tea they didn’t need a new psychiatrist to make you look crazy. The one you married and filmed writing a break up song to his ex wife already does that.
You Quad fans are just as weird and delusional as her. Quad is not even married to medicine and neither is King. Let’s start there. Tea didn’t watch the show and even if she did, marrying Gregory was not wrong on her part. He was a single man. Quad does not own the show or Greg. If Tea deserves mistreatment for just marrying a doctor, then what does Quad deserve for no longer being married to one? See how flawed your logic is? Y’all really want this lady to suffer because she married a doctor Quad isn’t married to anymore. I think you people need therapy too.

2. SHE HAS SAID OUT HER MOUTH SHE WAS A FAN OF THE SHOW. Wouldn’t that imply she watched it?
3. My statement was VERY clear: There would be no need to STAGE an interaction with a psychiatrist to paint her as crazy BECAUSE THE PSYCHIATRIST SHE IS MARRIAGE TO IS ALREADY DOING THAT. And before you play dumb, Tea looked crazy when Greg talked to her crazy in the bedroom telling her she was responsible for HIS poor behavior.
4. Quad doesn’t own the show. Yet they still filmed with HER over the “medicine” she was married to when their marriage ended. So CLEARLY Bravo/Universal is not as hung up on her actually being “Married to Medicine” as you are. They are interested in RATINGS. Greg does NOT bring ratings. Quad does. Get over it.

Thank you Rainbow! Quad and her fans need some help! All Sweet Tea did was marry someone’s ex husband and they act like she killed somebody! Meanwhile Heavenly said out her own mouth they begged Tea to do the show because Quad didn’t have a storyline! You can’t be the show when you needed your ex and his wife to keep your job! Quad needs to go with her hood rat boyfriend!
It’s annoying how you just completely skipped the part about Quad getting drunk and badgering that man and his wife on a trip while her fake a-s boyfriend was right there. They were coexisting UNTIL THEN. That’s what started all of this. Y’all sit here and pretend like she’s some innocent victim. It’s insane.
The way Sweet Tea is treated for simply marrying a single doctor is exactly why this show is struggling. Married to Medicine is now nothing more than a platform for older black women to bully younger black women. The sick part is some of the fans enjoy it and join in on the bullying. I wouldn’t be sad if it was cancelled. It’s just as toxic as LAMH.
I stop watching this show 4 seasons ago. I have no idea who some of these people are but sadly according to this comment section the story line has not changed. When will the viewers tire of this show so it can go away.
Quad was fired from the show. Why is it OK for her to come back when she isnt even married to anyone in medicine, but Greg can’t and he is a Doctor. It’s the backwards thinking people that keep trying to paint Greg as a jealous ex husband for me. How is it that Quad can spew her venom on Greg and Tea but they can not respond otherwise they are jealous. Quad is not all that and neither is King that anyone has to be jealous of either of them. Quad needs a check to help maintain the lifestyle she cannot afford. She only cared for the $$$ when she was married to Greg. When she was cut off after their divorce, her ego could not handle it. Her whole intentions on the show was to demoralize Greg, out of revenge and get paid to do it. I wish he and Tea would leave(not because they are running from Quad) but because they have a bit more class. I can see the proposed storyline that Tea describes with Mimi being true because Mimi tried to make her feel like she was wrong for defending herself and pushing back on the BS that she has had to deal with this whole season(especially with Quad). She acted like Quad did nothing wrong. I see Mimi differently after that.

I think this is kind of obvious to people who aren’t Quad stans. They expect Sweet Tea and Greg to take everything Quad, King, and the group throws their way. Anytime they push back like normal people would, they are painted as irrational, crazy, and jealous. Mimi is a fool if she thinks she and her husband will be exempt from the mistreatment. They’ll be next once Tea and Gregory leave the show.
Mimi is a weak a-s follower like the rest of them. If anything Sweet Tea is one of the most sane people on the show. The sh-t they expect her to sit there and take is insane.
I don’t see anything crazy about Sweet Tea. I saw a new person coming onto the scene and wanting to have everyone as her friend which was impossible. I thought that she was a great fit for this show compared to some of the so called M2M.
Quad is still obsessed with Dr. Greg, if she is happy, she should have no problem co-existing with Dr. Greg and Sweet Tea. Why would she care about her ex husband if she is happily have sex 15 times a week with her Boyfriend, her boyfriend had no business trying to attack Dr. Greg for his comments toward Quad, that was a punk move and for the cast to think differently is bs, and it shows how the cast was trying to use Sweet Tea to save the show. Quad is a narcissist, nobody wants her, she is a nasty self absorbed person that can’t let go of her previous marriage, why keep talking about Dr. Greg, if he was controlling and abusive, let Sweet Tea deal with that. Married to Medicine is mean girls, they say on that stage and tried to mock Sweet Tea, Jackie need to worry about her husband touching the other women inappropriately, we all know that Heavenly marriage is a sham, and Toya, whom I used to like until tonight is a bully, showed her true colors tonight, the fact that she tried to shut Sweet Tea down, confirms for me that Sweet Tea was telling the truth and even though I am not a fan of Phadrea, she spoke the truth in her final confession.
