Rasheeda and Yandy Smith’s friendship is being tested on LHHATL.
Yandy Smith has been clashing with Rasheeda during the current season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” Things went wrong in the friendship after Jasmine Washington accused Mendeecees Harris of being unfaithful. She also alleged that Mendeecees came to the strip club where she works. During the latest episode, Yandy said Kirk Frost lied about Mendeecees being at the strip club. In response, Rasheeda said Kirk did not lie. She said Jasmine told Kirk about Mendeecees showing up at her job to buy drinks. During a green screen interview, Rasheeda also told producers she heard there is a video of Mendeecees allegedly with other women. When producers asked if Rasheeda ever watched this supposed video, she pleaded the Fifth.
Rasheeda also pushed back on Yandy about the closeness of their friendship. She said she doubted she had ever spoken to Yandy on the phone more than ten times. Rasheeda also couldn’t recall Yandy being there for her during troubling times.
Many fans took to social media to call out Rasheeda. They believe Rasheeda was too harsh to Yandy, considering how Yandy clashed with Jasmine in defense of Rasheeda. Instead, Rasheeda and Kirk have joined Jasmine in spreading rumors about Mendeecees being unfaithful.
Well, Yandy possibly addressed the drama in a recent Instagram post. She posted a video of a motivational speaker talking about the importance of loyalty.
He said, “If all you had to offer was friendship, who would still be around? Real situations expose fake people. Sometimes it takes getting down on life to find who’s really down.”
She also posted a quote that said, “Loyalty behind your back is really top tier.”
Another quote may have seemingly addressed Rasheeda’s complaint of not talking to Yandy enough to be close.
“We’re adults and busy. No reason to be in constant contact with you just to prove my friendship to you. Just know when/if you need me, I’m here,” the quote read.
Rasheeda has consistently not been a girl’s girl. It’s sad.
Think about it: Yandy live in New York. Rasheeda lives in Atlanta; how do you consider yourselves friends just because you both are now in the same city.
Yandy need not stress over anything that is/was nothing.
I’m surprised both women can’t bond over their low self-esteem and lack of boundaries when it comes to their current partners..
