The next season of RHOP will not include Mia Thornton.

Mia Thornton struggled during the most recent season of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger were critical of her parenting. They took issue with the paternity of Mia’s son becoming a topic on the show. Although Karen wasn’t physically present at the reunion, Mia was still took to task on the issue. Gizelle and the others wouldn’t let up on Mia for allowing her son’s paternty to be questioned on the platform. Mia said she didn’t like that Gizelle said she was being a “horrible mother.” Regardless, Gizelle stood firm on the stance to her face at the Season 9 reunion.

It was at this moment Mia decided she was done filming the reunion. She walked off the stage and announced she was leaving the building. Gizelle took it as Mia couldn’t handle being in the hot seat and owning her bad decisions. She couldn’t respect it since she had to sit tight in the hot seat a time or two during past seasons of “Real Housewives of Potomac.”

Mia later addressed the moment during an interview at her beau Inc’s radio show. She said she left the reunion early so she wouldn’t end up putting her hands on Gizelle. Mia also announced she and her family relocated to Atlanta.

Hours ago, Mia took to Instagram to reveal she will not be on the next season of RHOP.

She wrote, “With every new season comes a new beginning and I have some news to share. My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, and with that, will not be returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ next season.”

Mia thanked her costars, as well as the network and production company for the four seasons she’s been on “Real Housewives of Potomac.” She also said there is more to come.

“This next chapter is already full of exciting opportunities, and I can’t wait to take you all along for the ride. Big things are coming…”
