Evelyn Lozada stands firm on her concerns about Christian Gold, losing her friendship with Jennifer Williams in the process.
Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada‘s friendship woes are once again playing out in the current season of “Basketball Wives.” As we reported, multiple accusations were made about Jennifer’s husband, Christian Gold. He’s been accused of running a Ponzi scheme and ripping off his clients. Many fans of the show began to have questions about Christian when he told Jennifer that his restitution for a past crime involving an ex-girlfriend was around $250,000. This was an issue because they were planning a Paris wedding at the time. However, court documents specified that Christian’s restitution was $12,500. Christian and his attorney also confirmed the amount was $12,500 in court documents filed several months ago. Regardless, Jennifer said she told Christian she would help him pay off the debt.
Evelyn originally said she didn’t want to involve herself in whatever could be going on with Christian last season because she didn’t want to fall out with Jennifer again. Their friendship has seen ups and downs since they have been on “Basketball Wives.” So she didn’t want to risk another rift. But she felt she was forced to call out Christian when Carl Crawford’s cousin alleged that Christian stole $1500 from her after she signed up for his investing services.
Christian Gold had some words for Evelyn Lozada on IG Live.
In response, Jennifer brought Evelyn’s daughter Shaniece Hairston into the feud. She pointed out that Evelyn has referred to Christian as a felon quite a bit but Shaniece had a child recently with a felon (The Game).
Jennifer and Evelyn have been going back and forth on social media since. Now Christian recently had words for Evelyn on Instagram Live.
He said, “And Evelyn, if you’re looking for another storyline next season, look elsewhere, please. Now I’m talking to you since you don’t want to see me face to face. Now I’m talking to you and I don’t give a **** about what the network says.”
Christian added, “What about your own life?”
Jennifer then said, “She ain’t got nothing going on.”
Christian continued, “I can tell you I don’t give a **** how many producers, executives are on this ******* live. How many times have y’all called me and I’m like I’m not filming? Because I don’t do all the ********. All that salacious stuff that y’all wanna put on the net to chastise a black man to make me look like a villain, I never wanted to do it.”
He went on to say he only does BBWLA for Jennifer, “But I did it because my wife is really the one with the storyline. When we’re talking about her and this Evelyn, she’s the one with the real storyline. So of course I’m gonna show up. And I’m looking at things for the future and I’m saying okay what is the next step for my wife to get off of Basketball Wives for us to go into something different maybe like get our own…”

I don’t like Evelyn but she is absolutely right about Christian like Jennifer was right about Chad years ago. This is going to end so badly for Jennifer. All this for a sassy man with a rap sheet. I’ll never understand male identified simpletons.

Everyone on this show is grown. Jennifer is entitled to whatever the relationship is with her husband… she said they weathered a storm.. and now she has some sunshine. No one held an umbrella for her .. they were in the raft together and if some sunshine is what they have so be it. Better than no sunshine and no joy. Life is too short to cast negativity towards someone finding happiness. Respect is respected. Keep your name .. kids name .. husbands name out of your mouth goes both ways. People outgrow each other and Jennifer and Evelyn are over . Onward and upward.
