Shamea Morton has been accused of being Porsha Williams’ lapdog throughout the years.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shamea Morton has been receiving backlash for her actions in the last few episodes. Some fans of the show have been puzzled by her treatment of Drew Sidora. They couldn’t understand why she spearheaded filming a scene with Drew’s estranged husband, Ralph Pittman, and Porsha Williams. Drew and Ralph are currently going through a contentious divorce. Although Porsha denied the meeting was tit for tat, Shamea confirmed she intended to be messy in a green screen interview. Shamea said she wanted to know if Drew slept with Dennis McKinley while they were working on her album.
Porsha and Ralph made accusations about Drew during the sitdown. Ralph claimed he filed for divorce because Drew allegedly had an affair with Ty Young. He also denied being unfaithful. As for Porsha, she accused Drew of trying to sleep with Dennis for “beats” but he turned her down in a past text message (Drew has denied all of these accusations since).
Shamea has also shaded Drew’s music career. During the latest episode, Shamea shaded Drew’s music while she was promoting her own at a radio station. But what really rubbed some viewers the wrong way was how the exchange between Shamea and Drew went down at Brit Eady’s event. Shamea confronted Drew for referring to her as Porsha’s lapdog. At some point in the conversation, Shamea started barking and ignoring what Drew was saying.

This was addressed during the After Show. Interestingly enough, Shamea regrets how she handled the scene.
“That’s one of my biggest regrets of the season,” she said.
Drew said she only called Shamea a lapdog because that has been the role she’s been playing.
“At the end of the day, we have to call it what it is. You are clearly Porsha’s lapdog because this energy is coming from nothing but the fact that you know Porsha and I have an issue ’cause you can’t articulate your real issue with me.”
Shamea feels like Angela Oakley is Drew’s lapdog.
“What we’re not going to do is keep calling me a lapdog when you’ve got the same thing in Angela. I mean I guess she wanted me to come off Porsha’s lap and sit on hers.”
Drew feels like she is getting ganged up on.
“We were just friends, you know? So what happened? And we don’t have an issue. It’s just like what feels like to me…it’s just a gang-up. It’s kind of getting old.”
Shamea is really embarrassing herself.
Yep. She wanted a peach so badly just to flop as soon as she got it just like Marlo.
Drew needs to go… She brings nothing but some kind of chaos and she has no real storyline.
Drew is literally one of the most valuable cast members. She is Porsha and Shamea’s storyline. She is Ming Lee’s story on Basketball Wives. Kelli and Brit keep her name in their mouths too. So she’s interesting enough to stay on the show. This is why Bravo doesn’t let fans make casting decisions. Someone isn’t expendable just because you don’t like them.
Shamea didn’t need to be a housewife. People hyped her up because her husband is wealthy but she still lacks substance.
So very true. She and Porscha are two peas in a pod of dumbness from day one. Zero growth in their human potential as women. This franchise started out with women now they little girls in dress up still rehearsing for womanhood. They all lack depth and the few times I’ve peeped on show it’s brainless energy drain albeit Angela who must find these silly girls tiring
When Drew has to hold the show together it’s bad and no disrespect to her….she has a real storyline
Phaedra will not help this disaster zone. Their vapidness is alot to take on large doses. The glory days of this franchise is over. Kill it and put us all out of misery.
Folks was gassing her up just because her husband had real money making her think she was that girl. She is still presenting as pick me. Money doesn’t solve all insecurities

Shamea is too clown-like, uncouth, and crass for RHOA. Money can’t fix that. I hope she’s one and done.
What made Shamea look even worse in her “lapdog” exchange with Drew is that Porsha maintained her composure, didn’t say a word, and let Shamea make a fool of herself all by herself. Smart move, Porsha. 👍🏾
