Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels are moving forward?
Some “Real Housewives of Potomac” fans were completely surprised about the latest casting news. As we reported, People Magazine recently reported Monique Samuels is returning for the upcoming season. The publication said Monique was returning in a friend role, not as a full-time housewife.
Monique departed the show seasons ago after she and Candiace Dillard-Bassett were involved in a physical altercation. Despite the controversial departure, many credited Monique for having an iconic reunion performance on her way out. At the time, she was also feuding with Gizelle Bryant. Gizelle had refused to film scenes with Monique and hired a security guard. She claimed she feared for her safety. In response, Monique accused Gizelle of faking her reconciliation with Jamal Bryant for a storyline. Her binder also included screenshots of text messages Jamal sent to another woman who claimed to be his real girlfriend at that time.
Some fans have wondered how things would work with Monique back in the mix since she and Gizelle left off in such a bad place. Interestingly enough, fans were surprised to see Gizelle and Monique standing next to each other when the cast attended World Pride recently. Check it out below on the second slide.

Simon Guobadia is out of ICE custody.
In more “Real Housewives” news, Porsha Williams‘ estranged husband Simon Guobadia has been released from ICE custody. According to US Weekly, Simon’s business partner confirmed Simon was released a couple of days ago. And he was put on a flight back to Nigeria. The publication was also given a new photo of Simon.
Simon spent months at the detention center which only made the divorce process more complicated for him and Porsha. Before he was detained, things had gotten pretty ugly between the exes on social media. Messy accusations went back and forth. Now Simon will be able to appear in divorce court via video due to his deportation.
It’s a miracle for Gizelle and Monique to even be standing next to each other and liking it lol. I hope this next season will be better than the last one. Oh and this means Simon will be back to dragging Porsha on IG soon smh. That man is a trip lol.
I think the only person Gizelle won’t be cool with ever again is Candiace. She’ll be cordial with anyone else as long as Robyn isn’t there. I’m fine with that because I didn’t want to see Mo and Gizelle beefing again. It’s been time to wrap that up. These women will drag about beefs for too long and ruin the show.
