Chantel Christie reveals scathing allegations against her sister, Ta’kari Lee.
“Basketball Wives” cast member Chantel Christie’s family drama is ratcheting up not just on the show, but on social media. Previously, Chantel’s sister, Ta’kari Lee, participated in a TikTok trend to express how she felt Chantel used her trauma with Jackie Christie for a storyline on the show. Since the post went viral, Chantel responded multiple times on Instagram.
Now, Chantel’s responses are adding fuel to the tension between the sisters. Her most recent response to Ta’kari includes a very scathing allegation from their childhood.
In her now-infamous post, Chantel wrote:
I made a general statement highlighting the fact that all 3 of us have had our bad feelings about her, whatever those feelings may be. Nobody mentioned you by name, nor do I care to speak on your experience—you wrote a whole book about it. Now here you are with a screenshot from 2017 with no context.
You wanna tell these people why I went no contact with you? Was it because you were asking me to send you money when my now 8 year-old was only a few days old, no care or consideration for the horrific birthing experience I had just had? Or maybe it was because you used to molest me, under the guise of playing house? I’m sure you remember all those times, bc I do. So I dare you to say I’m lying. I can keep going? Bc I’m 32 w kids of my own now and I will lay everybody’s shit bare. Find you something safe to do.
Brittany Renner jumps in, and Ta’kari responds.
As if the situation wasn’t messy enough, fellow BBWLA co-star Brittany Renner decided to jump into the fray. She called out Ta’kari for turning off comments on Instagram. In one post to Brittany’s IG story, she said, “Turn the comments back on sis @takari_lee.”
In the next post, Brittany commented, “I’ll be waiting ⏳” as she shared a screenshot from what Ta’kari shared in her own IG story regarding her sister.
Ta’kari didn’t leave this alone, however. She shared a video in response, saying she won’t respond to Brittany here. Instead, she will respond in a courtroom.

I just want to let you know what you’re waiting for are court documents. I definitely won’t be addressing a witch like that here. Bye.

Chantel and Takari are grown women with children of their own. They need to grow up asap and stop this foolishness. None of this is our business. Brittany needs so much attention. She’s pathetic.
Chantel wants all this protection and defending from her family but look how she lets Brittany treat them. These ladies need therapy. Social media is not the place for this.
This show has just become deplorable. Nobody needs these cut throating nasty women in folk family business. Everyone participating Must need a life because you won’t keep your nose in your own raggedy business. Where did they dig up these new nasty two dollar folk from.
Well I’m here for all of it! My big ears are open! I want to know more about the molestation charge that Chantel has waged against her sister Takari. And I want to see what Takari has to say. As for Brittany, I love her interference in the Jackie vs. Chantel vs. Takari drama. This is EXACTLY what reality TV is all about. Let’s go Ladies!
P.S. Congratulations Shaunie. You have brought your show to an all-time low. I applaud you and shade you simultaneously. Guess you won’t be able to fake it after this Christie/Lee melee plays out. Have a great day First Lady.

Look keep your family drama off these TV shows. Nobody knows you anyway but your family members and actual friends. We can’t help you with your personal problems so why should we care.
I guess I’m supposed to forget that Chantel and Takari are grown women with children. Chantel has a whole husband to worry about. They need to grow up and stop airing out their family problems. If Jackie is a bad mom, they are bad and dishonorable children. And that is no longer on Jackie because they are grown now.
