Brit Eady stands by what she said about Shamea Morton’s parenting.
Months ago, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shamea Morton made some interesting accusations about Brit Eady. During an interview, she said Brit crossed the line by coming for her daughter. As fans may know, Shamea has been open about her daughter’s health issues. Interestingly enough, Shamea and Brit’s tense conversation was shown during the season finale. Shamea confronted Brit for telling Porsha Williams she read text messages between the former best friends. According to Shamea, Brit lied about the texts being shown to her.
As the back and forth ensued, Brit and Shamea made scathing accusations against each other. Brit called Shamea out for not leaving the Genada trip to be with her daughter after she was informed the child was sick. And Brit also accused Shamea of using her child’s health issues and even lying about the situation to garner sympathy from fans.
Shamea accused Brit of being a pill popper.
While some RHOA fans felt like Brit gave Shamea the response she deserved, others believe Brit crossed the line.
Former “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” star Jessie Woo had some words for Brit on Facebook. She wrote, “I don’t understand why Brit felt the need to bring up Shamea’s daughter AT ALL. Insinuating that Shamea was LYING about her daughter’s illness??? Shamea has amazing self-control because baybeeeeeee…”
Brit responded, “Shamea doesn’t get to call me a ***** all season long, imply I’m an addict, bully me in every media outlet, come for my marriage, and try to get the public to hate me because she’s a LIAR. What no one sees is Shamea uses this storyline to gain sympathy from the fans, when she weaponizes her child’s condition and knows no one can say anything. But no one talks about the made-up stories she has put out in the media, dragging my name every chance she gets. **** her.”
A fan told Brit she would feel differently if she were a parent because talking about children is wrong. But Brit didn’t back down. She pointed out that she didn’t say anything negative about Shamea’s daughter; she criticized Shamea’s parenting only.
“When you attack my marriage, pay ppl to put out gay rumors, and attack my reputation, call me a fraud and tell the world I should be fired from my job, she can suck it. I attacked her parenting. Simple as that.” Check out the screenshots below.

Not a Brit fan but she really read Kelli and Shamea with ease. Makes me think Kenya and Brit could have gotten past their issue and been a good duo, especially since they were getting along well at the beginning.
The way Shamea completely lied and her fans are glossing over it like she’s the victim makes think Brit may be right.
I’m with you when you’re right and Brit is right. They spend every season telling us how much of a liar Drew is but Shamea, Porsha, and Phaedra tell way more lies if we’re being honest.
Shamea has mastered the victim act. She’s even better at it than Porsha.
Shamea loves playing VICTIM but the fans seen right through the manipulation. Brit definitely didn’t say anything about the child .Shamea be hating on Drew for no reason than Drew can actually sing better. Shamea got her TIERD behind on several platforms dragging Drew. I was happy when I first heard she received a peach, and then the season aired, and I was totally DISAPPOINTED she on screen barking, now this when Drew should have had the doggy bones. No tea NO shade
This right here is why Brit should have taken her goofy a-s to the reunion. She’s finally reading people properly but she chose to run away like a punk and sue at the last minute. She’ll regret her decisions a decade from now.
Do we live with Shamea to know what goes on in her household? Whether she is lying or what have you is left for her to deal with and not us fans. Of course anyone would feel sorry for someone who is going through something with their children. That’s understandable.
