Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon discussed K. Michelle allegedly joining RHOA.
Weeks ago, it was rumored that K. Michelle joined the cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Some fans are excited to see what the former star of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” can bring to the show. Others have taken to social media to question whether the decision made any sense. Regardless, the singer is married with a big personality to boot. Some have argued that it’s worth giving her a chance, as she has a solid track record when it comes to sparring with her words. She has even responded to her LHHATL foes by penning a diss song and performing the song at her shows.
Well, RHOA fans aren’t the only ones with thoughts about K. Michelle securing a peach. Recently, “Real Housewives of Potomac” OGs Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon discussed this topic on “Reasonably Shady.” Robyn kicked it off by also discussing former “Basketball Wives” cast member Angel Love joining “Married to Medicine.”
Robyn said it seems like production companies are running out of people to cast, so they are now recycling people from other networks.
“I really thought the networks tried to avoid crossovers from different networks, but I am like, Atlanta is running out of people. You’re using people from other networks now.”
While Gizelle agreed recycling is happening, she is also open-minded about K. Michelle being a real housewife.
“Let’s talk about K. Michelle really quickly. This is allegedly, we do not know. It has not been said officially that she’s on the show. I’m not mad at it. At first, I was like, what? K. Michelle? That don’t…that’s weird. But out of the ‘Love & Hip Hop’…’cause you know I’m a ‘Love & Hip Hop’ girl. So out of the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ world, there are very few people I feel like have left that behind them and have gone on to do so many other things that it really wasn’t a factor.”
K. Michelle had some words for Robyn Dixon.
Robyn added, “But she was already someone before ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ She was already who she was before ‘Love & Hip Hop.'”
She went on to say, “Yeah, I think those types of people can come and go. And you have people…Cardi B was kind of created on “Love & Hip Hop’ so now she’s somebody else. But K. Michelle already had her career.”
Gizelle concluded they were on the same page, “That’s what I’m saying. So her being a housewife…she’s married now. Her being a housewife, I’m not mad at it.”
Robyn asked, “So, you’re saying ‘Love & Hip Hop’ doesn’t define her?”
Gizelle answered, “Exactly. That’s what I was trying to say.”
K. Michelle clapped back after the clip went viral on social media.
She wrote, “Why be so worried about me and my overly educated and successful self, and what I might be doing??? Robyn, you ran out of a job a longggggg time ago. You would love to be recycled, you little couch potato, just yappin. You should’ve RAN through that hotel lobby where your husband was, lady. Gizelle, you look beautiful. Leave me alone and let me go yodel in peace.”
K. Michelle added, “I’m around here selling out shows and you selling baseball hats, but you worried about me and what I might be doing. The nerve of this couch potato.”
