Kelli Ferrell’s ex-husband is suing for $150 million.
The spotlight on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kelli Ferrell keeps intensifying as multiple legal battles mount.
Previously, Urban Belle reported that Kelli’s ex-husband, Mark Ferrell, accused her of spreading damaging claims about him. Court documents obtained exclusively by Urban Belle now confirm Mark has filed a federal lawsuit in the Northern District of Georgia, demanding $150 million in damages and the “return” of Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles. In his filing, he wrote that he is seeking the “full reinstatement of operational control, licensing rights, and intellectual property protections associated with Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles, including all current and future locations.” The suit also accuses Kelli of defamation, pointing to televised statements that he stole $500,000 and engaged in abusive behavior. He is additionally seeking emergency orders to stop Kelli and others from operating the brand while the case proceeds.
A former employee has filed a wage theft lawsuit against Kelli.
Kelli recently opened a new Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles location in Sandy Springs, GA. However, a former server, Saniyah Casey, has filed suit in Fulton County Superior Court against Kelli and the restaurant. Casey claims she worked from July through mid-August but was paid only once and never provided proper payroll records. The complaint seeks $18,788.52 in lost wages, back pay, tuition reimbursement, emotional damages, and other costs, alleging she was forced to take a semester off college and lost housing because of unpaid wages. Casey has also asked the court to consider criminal charges for knowingly withholding pay.
A protective order has been granted after Kelli allegedly went after an HOA Board Member.
On top of that, Kelli is facing a temporary protective order issued by Fulton County Superior Court. Urban Belle exclusively obtained the complaint filed by HOA board member Monualda Cash, which describes an alleged heated confrontation that led to the order. In her petition, Cash wrote:
“As I was acting in my capacity as an HOA Board Member, Kelli Potter-Ferrell aggressively entered my private patio, through my private gate in a violent manner, accompanied by others. This incident occurred after her vehicle was booted for again violating CCL guidelines by parking in a narrow driveway, which is also a designated fire lane. Mrs. Potter-Ferrell had to be physically restrained.”
Cash says the incident occurred on August 9, 2025. The court granted her a stalking temporary protective order, barring Kelli from contact and setting a hearing within thirty days.
US Weekly reported on the case and published a statement from Kelli’s representative, who said:
“Since the announcement of Kelli’s involvement with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Mrs. Cash has engaged in a concerning pattern of behavior directed at Kelli and her family … Out of respect for all parties, we will not be commenting further at this time. We strongly urge that Kelli’s privacy — and that of her family — be respected, and we caution against the spread of misinformation.”
I’m starting to realize Kelli may be the problem.
