The Braxton sisters address their tension in the next season of “The Braxtons.”
“The Braxtons” kicked off with a controversial first season. As we reported, many fans of the show felt like it was too dark. A lot of focus was put on Traci Braxton‘s son and husband. At the time, their relationship was fractured. Towanda Braxton and Trina Braxton criticized Kevin Surratt, Sr. Some fans felt like the sisters made the situation worse. In their opinion, the sisters needed to stay out of the grieving father and son’s conflict out of respect for Traci. So the season left a bad taste in their mouths.
Well, the Braxtons are back for Season 2. This time, Tamar Braxton returns as a full-time cast member.
At the beginning of the trailer, Trina says she is glad to be back so they can show fans what made them fall in love with the family.
“I am so excited about Season 2 to remind everybody else why they fell in love with us in the first place.”
While there will be moments of laughter, Toni Braxton reveals that the sisters have been having tension.
“The tensions are at an all-time high,” Toni says.
In another scene, Towanda tells Trina that she is fed up.
“I have to draw a line, and it’s not a line in the sand. It’s a line in the concrete,” says Towanda.
Tamar seemingly shakes things up even more when she interviews their niece, Ashley Braxton, on her podcast. At the time, Ashley was making headlines for the accusations she made about an aunt. She alleged that one of her aunts cut her off after their ex hit on her when she was underage.
Later on in the trailer, the sisters try to have a sit-down to address the tension. Tamar and Trina get into it.
Tamar tells Trina, “You better take that back.”
Trina snaps, “I’m not taking nothing back!”
At the height of the drama, Tamar jumps up from the table and knocks a glass over in Towanda’s direction. This sets off Toni, and she gets up to walk in Tamar’s direction with her finger pointed, forcing security to step in.

These sisters are a hot mess now. Tamar to me has always been the messy one. She’s flip at the lips that’s why Vince use to get on her. Maybe the sisters have really gotten fed up with her that’s why there’s so much tension between them!
Tamar and Towanda are both messy and exhausting.
Yep. I can’t imagine being so mean to a sibling but they do it with ease.
