Tamar Braxton doesn’t back down to Toni Braxton in “The Braxtons” sneak peek.
“The Braxtons” returns for Season 2 this October. WE tv recently released a 7-minute sneak peek at the family drama to come. The sisters made headlines last year when one of their nieces made some very controversial accusations. Ashlee Braxton alleged that one of her aunts cut her off after their ex-husband sent her an inappropriate text message when she was just 16 years old. Fans began to suspect that the aunt in question was allegedly Trina Braxton. Eventually, Tamar Braxton announced she would have Ashlee be a guest on her podcast. In the preview, the situation is addressed. Tamar clashes with Toni Braxton after she alleges that it was Toni’s suggestion that Ashlee be on “The Braxtons.” This comes after Tamar expresses outrage about being sent a cease and desist letter.
“Sending a cease and desist, shutting down my business! Exhibit B, the cease and desist!”
Towanda Braxton says she had nothing to do with the cease and desist. Trina says the same in her green screen interview.
Tamar continues, “I got a cease and desist before Ashley was on my podcast. I didn’t even say anything!”
After Tamar says no one came to her defense, this sets Toni off.
“So you gon sit there and say Toni Braxton doesn’t care about you? Toni Braxton ain’t never have your back?”
Tamar responds, “You didn’t have my back!”
Toni snapped, “I’m a heavyweight. Don’t **** with me, Tamar! Don’t **** with Toni Braxton!”
Tamar’s next accusation leaves mouths agape, “And then when Toni said we need to have her on the show…”
Toni immediately denies saying this to Tamar, “I told you we need to have Ashley on the show? I ain’t never say that!”
At the height of Tamar and Toni’s argument, Toni gets in Tamar’s face, and Tamar doesn’t back down.
Social media backlash was hurtful to Trina Braxton.
The video then transitions to what occurred 3 weeks earlier. Tamar meets Ashlee at a restaurant. She explains her actions to producers.
“Well, I’m Ashley’s aunt. She is my brother’s daughter. And I know what it’s like to be in pain and no one comes to your aid. Okay? The difference between me and Ashley is I went to my family for help, and they told me they wasn’t going to help me. I wanted to offer that to her because I felt like it wasn’t offered to me.”
Meanwhile, Trina vents to Towanda about hurtful social media backlash.
“People who have absolutely no knowledge or idea about the situation were bullying me. I was devastated. I was absolutely devastated.”
She adds, “I told you that I am sorry this happened to you, and I embraced you. But if it was something additional that you needed from me, why didn’t you call me?”
Tamar has wronged her family so I think she’s using her niece as an outlet for her own mess to come out. She’s going to seize the opportunity to compare her stuff to her niece.

I don’t think Tamar really cares about her niece’s trauma. She’s exploiting the situation to f-ck with her sisters as always. She’s always been full of sh-t.

Trina sounds crazy though. Why did the victim need to call you? You should have called your niece and made sure she was good. This family is so toxic.

I’m honestly wondering which of the “husbands” it was!!!!….And at one point the niece Dad didn’t want her to speak on the situation….This is so sad and confusing to me!! Why wouldn’t he help his own child?!

I feel that it is a cover up to try and silence the truth…..If it happened….. it happened not addressing it only leads to generational trauma…. I feel that maybe on air is not the place however it could have brought her on the show to tell of the healing process after it was addressed….I feel the sister’s are full of it like not wanting Traci’s son or husband on the show but wanting their husband… Hell they don’t need to be on the show they have no talent riding on their sister’s celebrity hood. I didn’t like Tamar at first but she’s put in the work to earn her own platform don’t hate….
