Kandi Burruss and Don Juan think K. Michelle is a great addition to RHOA.
Fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts about casting for the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Some have been critical about “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” OG K. Michelle joining the show. They do not believe she is a good fit for RHOA. These fans fear the show is headed in the wrong direction. Interestingly enough, two people who think K. Michelle is a great addition are Kandi Burruss and Don Juan. They discussed this recently on YouTube. In the process, they also revealed that Tami Roman was turned down in the past after she walked away from “Basketball Wives.”
On K. Michelle being a great addition to RHOA, Don Juan said:
“In reality TV, people get a bad rap…the people like Kenya, people like me, the people like your momma…we get a bad rap because we are no-holds-barred and we say what we feel. We get a bad rap, but everybody can’t be the same. You need people who aren’t afraid to speak their mind. I think K. Michelle is a comedian. I think her reads are very funny. I think Housewives of Atlanta, to be honest, has missed a personality like that for some years.”
He added, “They’ve tried a few people, but it always don’t land like that. I think she’s just naturally funny. And so I think she’s a great addition if she’s gonna be on the show. I think it’s weird that they have before said no to the people who I feel would have been great for the show.”
Kandi responded, “They have said absolutely not to people in the past from other franchises.”
Kandi Burruss was disappointed by Tami Roman being turned down.
Don Juan named Tami Roman as one person who was not cast but should have been.
“I mean, there’s one person that I still think to this day she would have been an amazing housewife: Tami Roman,” he said.
Kandi strongly agreed, “Oh, for sure! I wanted Tami to be on the show so bad!”
Don believes Tami would have been amazing as a peach holder.
“And they said no. When she left Basketball Wives, they said no, and I was like, she is an amazing addition. She would have been amazing.”

I think so too.
Tami is where God wants her to be. She’s doing great 👍 with her own show and that’s nice of Kandi and Don Juan to speak highly of her but God knows what’s best because her show is getting high ratings I’m sure and NOT RHOA.
I really can’t understand why they didn’t pick Tami. She’s a better fit than most of the new people they hired recently.
