On the season premiere of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Ashley clashes with Stacey about her alleged lies, and Wendy is caught off guard when Keiarna expresses grievances about their friendship. Here are the highlights for “Second Boom.”
Karen’s sentencing is discussed, and Stacey is pressed by the group.
The ladies come together to discuss Karen’s sentencing for her DUI conviction. They can’t believe she’s currently in prison. While Gizelle is very sympathetic, she also understands that Karen needed to be held accountable since it was her fourth DUI.
They switch topics. TJ is brought up. Stacey once again denies paying him to be her fake boyfriend on the show. He was remorseful about making the claim the last time they spoke. Gizelle and Ashley aren’t buying this. Keiarna says it’s been rumored that Stacey had been trying to get on RHOP for years, so it’s not hard to believe she may be willing to do anything to keep her spot now. Regardless, Stacey says she had already been on TV for years, so she isn’t that desperate to fake a relationship.
Stacey then throws a little shade Keiarna’s way, insinuating that it was Keiarna who had been trying to become a housewife for a good minute, which results in Keiarna getting spicy and labeling Stacey as beady-eyed.
Did TJ sue Stacey?
In a green screen interview, Stacey says she was taken aback by Keiarna’s aggression because she’s usually “vanilla” and lacks personality. Meanwhile, Keiarna tells producers that people like Stacey who lie with a straight face scare her.
Stacey leaves after the group continues to question her.
They continue to discuss Stacey and TJ. Gizelle says she and Ashley went to an Essence Magazine event and a well known actress sat at their table. She is good friends with TJ and showed them a copy of the lawsuit TJ filed against Stacey. He is still alleging that Stacey did not pay him what they agreed to, and he wants his money.
She was allegedly supposed to give him half of her earnings from RHOP.
Despite divorcing, Stacey reconciles with her ex-husband.
Stacey meets her ex-husband, Thiemo, at a restaurant. In a confessional, Stacey reveals they have gotten back together. They vacationed together for Christmas with their daughter, and that is when they learned their divorce was official. It was then that they realized they wanted to work things out. They will tell their daughter when they think the time is right.
Eddie updates the kids about his upcoming trip to New Jersey. During a green screen interview, Wendy tells producers that Happy Eddie is doing very well, so he is expanding the marijuana business into another state. It’s inspiring to see Eddie succeed in a new field, but it’s interesting to see that Stacey wasn’t honest at the reunion. Gizelle was correct when she said that Stacey was starting a marijuana business.
Ashley meets up with Stacey after they clashed in front of the others during their last meetup. Stacey denies that TJ is suing her. Ashley has had enough. She questions if Stacey got divorced because she couldn’t locate any court documents to confirm this. But she looked herself up, and it said she is divorced. Stacey questions why Ashley is so concerned about her life. During a confessional, Stacey says Ashley needs to be looking for a “voice coach.”
Stacey tells Ashley they can talk again when she has actual receipts and walks away.
Wendy’s track record as a friend is questioned by Keiarna.
Keiarna’s friend Angel joins the show. She is from Maryland, and her husband, Bobby, played for the Denver Broncos. He is now retired. They started a successful resort in Colorado and are in the middle of opening a new location in Maryland.
Angel knows Wendy from college. But since Wendy is older, they didn’t hang out. But she remembers that Wendy was always ambitious and focused.
Keiarna feels like Wendy can be dismissive. Angel encourages Keiarna to talk to Wendy about her feelings.
Ashley celebrates her divorce.
Gizelle introduces her friend Tia to the show. They attend Ashley’s divorce celebration, which looks to be Bridgerton themed. Tia is a high-end realtor from London. She is Nigerian, and her family is part of the royal family, so she is a princess.
Wendy and Gizelle have a playful conversation about wearing similar-looking dresses when Keiarna joins them and speaks to Wendy. Wendy is still caught up in the conversation and misses this, which annoys Keiarna. Keiarna asks Gizelle to leave temporarily so she can talk to Wendy.
After Gizelle obliges, Keiarna tells Wendy that she feels like Wendy has been dismissive. She didn’t understand why Wendy didn’t tell her she was a speaker at an event they attended. Wendy explains she didn’t think it was necessary to tell her that after she congratulated Keiarna for being a sponsor at the event. She wanted it to be Keiarna’s moment.
Keiarna then says she would have waved at her friend if she were on the stage speaking. She also takes issue with Wendy asking her if she did her own makeup at another event. Wendy thinks this is absurd. Regardless, she receives Keiarna’s feelings and tells her that she had no intention to be dismissive or rude. In a green screen interview, Keiarna says it just seems as if Wendy doesn’t know how to be a friend.
Ashley and Stacey clash again.
While Stacey and Ashley attempt once again to have a friendly conversation, Ashley insinuates that Stacey’s breath stinks. Gizelle and Angel agree.
Stacey tells Ashley they should talk away from the others because Ashley and Gizelle like to team up against people together.
When Ashley and Stacey are alone, Stacey questions why Ashley is on her case about TJ. Ashley says she doesn’t like liars, and she takes offense to Stacey coming into the group in a dishonest way. When Stacey’s male best friend asks Ashley if the matter can be settled if Stacey shows proof of the divorce, Ashley says yes.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger after Stacey tells Ashley she is the devil.

As a life long resident of the DMV I found this new season particularly with everything that is happening here compounded by this fed shutdown and potential firing of more black women stressful and triggering. These broads are too old to be acting up like dressed up mean girls. I realize they have to get those coins but at what expense. As women we now more than ever need to be supporting and encouraging each other. Reaching for our higher better selves. Ashley was on steroid slathered in hateful mean-spirited sauce. You’re still a no talent uneducated whore who used sex to get her husband and landed a hefty divorce after 3 long years….so now you just a rich untalented hoe with daddy issues. Gizzelle an empty nester still with no viable story line manless and still bitter and traumatized by her ex who clearly married a woman he respects and deems on his level intellectually and as your tag line says word on the street he’s happy. Keira I dont give a damn about your life your family’s life or you fake new friend to the show..you always gonna be just another Baltimore girl resting on your looks with a man if hes still around never saw you as his equals…the African brit might screw around and get deported and was brought in to irritate Wendy…..who don’t care about none of you on the real. The bullying of Stacey was especially hard to see. Her life will always be fuller than dizzy Ashley I dont like liars but stayed married to one…and hateful Gizelle who can’t keep a man and deluding herself that she’s aging well. They are both venomous personalities willing to do anything to keep those RT coins coming in. As women where the hate for our humanity and dignity is under assault on a daily basis in this new Amerikkka get a grip. Over age mean girls who bully and get off on dehumanizing other women is a total turn off. Lastly Reality tv is suppose to be mindless TV entertainment..there’s nothing thought productive about this brand of television…you watch to relax not come away with feelings of stress and disgust. Gizelle and Ashley disgust me as women. At least Mia had a viable storyline and knew she was trash getting paid. You two smell of venomous hate and will never illicit sympathy from your viewers because nobody likes bullies nor seeing people disparage people while living through this trauma drama administration everyday. I’ll sit this season out and wait for my girls from Miami and Beverly Hills to come back. Rhop simply not worth the energy.
It seems like every scene that these ladies are in is all about Stacey!!!.. it’s just ridiculous… Where’s to the storylines…?!?!… It’s like this entire season is going to be about Stacey…TJ..and Karen!! It’s definitely gonna be like watching paint dry!!..And at this point….I am tired of Ashley with Stacy being her storyline… Boring
Good start to the season. Keiarna needs to calm down a bit. She’s trying too hard.
Like seriously, they got a lot of nerve to try to put Stacey on blast. Like all the bs they have done, and sorry but no shade Ashley has never had a storyline, eva. It’s really giving bullying and none of them can talk . It’s hard to watch at times, and Fangirl your entire comment was so accurate
Well said Fan Girl I was going eat Gizzelle and Ashley pathetic a** up but you nailed it. Ashley little mutt who lie ten years about her divorce and about her creepy husband who treated her like trash and she still stayed with him every time he was on camera at a event he would start a fight with one of her coworker he never supported her so if Stacy want to stay with her husband or not talk about her ex boy friend it’s none of Gizzelle or her puppet Ashley business. And Keiarna leave Greg alone you.look so pretty and the condo is so lovely. Better listen to your mom. looks like Wendy feel herself that dress was everything but it was so much maybe appropriate for another event of her own. Hope Gizzelle stop talking about Karen I guess that’s her storyline
