In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Wendy has tension with Keiarna and Angel. Plus, Stacey and Keiarna clash. Here are the highlights for “Chin Checked.”
Keiarna and Wendy have another sit-down and it goes left.
Wendy and Keiarna meet at the harbor to discuss the rift that has occurred in their friendship. Keiarna feels like Wendy only wants to be TV friends. This confuses Wendy since she feels like she’s had Keiarna’s back when the other women came for her. She reminds Keiarna that she was there for her when Ashley accused her of previously dating a drug dealer who funded her spa business. But she doesn’t receive the same support and Keiarna doesn’t even call her like that.
Keiarna believes Wendy only supports her to look like a good friend on TV. She also says she didn’t like how Wendy was acting when she was talking to Gizelle. Keiarna accuses Wendy of not really liking Gizelle. Wendy is completely confused by Keiarna’s behavior and she says Keiarna is the one who doesn’t like Gizelle.
Wendy ends up laughing in Keiarna’s face when she claims Wendy is only excited to talk to her on the phone but doesn’t show the same excitement in person. In a green screen interview, Wendy says she doesn’t even know how to deal with Keiarna at this point because she seems to want her hand to be held and Wendy is too grown for that.
Keiarna is offended by Wendy’s laughter, so she gets up to leave but flips off Wendy first and Wendy returns the gesture while continuing to laugh in Keiarna’s face. They will not be on good terms anytime soon.

Gizelle’s dating side hits the blogs.
Stacey catches up with Jassi. They bonded after Mia left them hanging in Miami. Stacey tells Jassi that the other women have been giving her a hard time. In particular, Ashley and Gizelle don’t even believe she ever got divorced. And she doesn’t understand why they are doing this because it’s not like it’s uncommon for couples to reconcile after divorcing. Jassi points out that Gizelle dated her ex husband on the show several seasons ago.
Stacey then says she has tea on Gizelle. She hands her phone over to Jassi to show a picture of Gizelle on date with a man. In a confessional, Stacey questions how Gizelle can call her fake when she won’t even be transparent about her life on the show. It’s hypocritical.
The man in the picture is seemingly Shawn Springs, a 50 year old retired NFL player.

Angel isn’t here for being chin checked.
Gizelle, Wendy, Tia, and Angel meet up to shop and chat. Wendy tells Angel that her sit-down with Keiarna was confusing. She doesn’t think she has done anything to betray Keiarna. Gizelle tells Angel that Keiarna said she had to “chin check” Angel because she defended Wendy. Angel is taken aback and says it is not cool if Keiarna said this considering she was hit in the head by Ashley’s friend. So she should be against using violent language to discuss a friend. Regardless, Keiarna told her she didn’t use that phrase.
Angel says she plans to confront Keiarna about this and it’s going to be a problem if she used the words chin check.

Wendy is caught off guard by Angel’s switch up.
The next time the ladies get together at Keiarna’s for her pre-game for the First Lady of Maryland’s event, she and Wendy butt heads. Wendy has become frustrated by Keiarna constantly coming for her with what she feels are rehearsed lines. She didn’t do anything to Keiarna to warrant this energy. Keiarna’s mother makes her presence known in the background and gives Tia the impression that she is there to be Keiarna’s backup if necessary.
Gizelle brings up the chin check confusion. She tells Keiarna she did say “chin check” when referring to Angel. Keiarna apologizes to Angel. Angel says she accepts the apology and wants Keiarna to know that she will always have her back. Wendy is confused by Angel’s switch up. She recently told her and Gizelle that it “would be a problem” if Keiarna said she chin checked her.
Angel admits she was angry about it but she had time to sleep on it and cool off. In a confessional, Wendy says Angel is acting like Keiarna really did chin check her in private.
Keiarna apologizes to Angel but warns her not to have another conversation like that again behind her back. Gizelle is shocked by Keiarna’s actions. She feels like Keiarna symbolically chin checked Angel in front of the group.

Ashley clutches her pearls after Stacey claps back at Keiarna.
Angel then directs her irritation to Wendy and she calls out Wendy for thinking she was being fake. Gizelle points out that she agreed with Wendy about Angel’s switch up but she’s oddly only angry with Wendy.
Angel tries to explain why she’s only mad at Wendy and Wendy tells producers that it was clear that Angel and Keiarna had a plan and spoke before.
Wendy tells Angel that it was crazy how she flipped on her.
They leave to head to the event. Keiarna claims she was trying to get to know Stacey better. Stacey questions how that could be the case when she wasn’t even inviting Stacey to her events. Keiarna’s response is that she doesn’t care. Stacey wonders what about her makes Keiarna so pressed all the time. After another clash with Wendy, Keiarna then makes fun of the way Stacey speaks, accusing her of using her QVC voice.
Stacey is offended when Keiarna refers to her as a *** but Keiarna and Angel insist it’s just a “colloquialism.” Stacey says she doesn’t want to be “chin checked” and she’s sure Keiarna is the person to show her how it’s done.
Ashley then becomes offended and accuses Stacey of taking it too far by referencing the altercation between Keiarna and her former friend. In a green screen interview, she says she wanted to chin check Stacey for this.

What are your thoughts on the episode?
Keiarna doesn’t want real friends, she wants followers at her big age. She’s exhausting and she can go and take her lapdog Angel with her. They are using Wendy and Stacey for storylines.
Okay I’m starting to think Bravo made Keiarna full time so she wouldn’t sue. And what is Ashley talking about? How is Stacey repeating what Keiarna said about her own bestie too low? It wasn’t too low when she asked Keiarna what happened to the scar? She’s so fake.
Stacey is hilarious and quick on her feet lol.
