Stacey Rusch says she did not try to date Chris Samuels.
Monique Samuels’ return to “Real Housewives of Potomac” was confirmed months before an official trailer for the current season dropped. Some fans feel like she had unfinished business with Gizelle Bryant. Interestingly enough, it became clear in the trailer that Monique’s return may also be linked to Stacey Rusch. During the latest episode, Ashley Darby accused Stacey of asking someone she knows to connect her with Chris Samuels. Before Stacey could respond, the episode ended on a cliffhanger.
Bravo has released a video of the first several minutes of the next episode. In the video, Ashley says a publicist she’s friends with gave her the tea.
“Tatiana told me the night of my bloom ball that you had reached out to her to connect you with Chris Samuels,” says Ashley.
Stacey says, “I adore Chris Samuels. He is a great man, a great father. We are good friends.”
After Ashley asks how Stacey and Chris became friends, Stacey answers:
“Both of us having gone through a divorce, we have a lot of friends in common, and that’s what it is.”
Ashley goes on to say that Chris is telling people that Stacey tried to get with him. Stacey’s response is that she’s a good-looking woman, and that is to be expected. Angel Massie says, “He’s not like that, he’s not like that.”
Angel tells the group that Chris was her husband’s mentor. She breaks down their relationship in a confessional.
“We know Chris Samuels because one of the colleges that was recruiting Bobby was ‘Bama. That’s where Chris was going at the time. So I think he was kind of being a big brother to him, but that’s the extent of it.”
Stacey directs her attention back to Ashley and makes it clear to her that the only thing that matters is that she is back with her ex-husband.
In a green screen interview, Stacey says the rumor isn’t true.
“You can’t expose something that’s not true. I’m going to live my best life in that nameless robe and have a great time.”
Angel Massie has some words for Gizelle Bryant.
Another interesting moment is when the women get together for a round of questions and drinks. Keiarna Stewart calls it a night early, so she misses out. This leads to Angel becomming really comfortable with the others. Wendy asks Angel who she would kill in the group. She immediately says she would take out Gizelle.
“I was so nice to you, and then you called my *** a catfish. And let me tell you, I’m that ************! I didn’t catfish anybody. The end!”
Gizelle gets shady in her confessional.
“I’m happy to be killed by Angel because at least it told us she has a pulse. You got to at least be honest. So yeah, if you want to kill me, yay!”
Wendy concludes that she likes Angel when Keiarna isn’t around.
“It’s so interesting how once Keiarna left, Angel seemed to rise like a phoenix from the ashes. This Angel is cool,” she says.
I see Ashley is going to make Stacey her storyline all season long. Pathetic.
Agreed. Ashley is mad that Stacy’s white husband stayed with her than Micheal divorcing her. I think Ashley has something against chocolate women and white men. Just look at Candice!
If Angel is only interesting when she’s drunk and K isn’t around, she’s a chop. Sorry.
Hunni…..These ladies….Gizelle and Ashley are trying everything in their power to break Stacey…But she’s keeping it classy and pay them dust!!! The attack on Stacey character is real!!! I guess some of the ladies don’t have a valid storyline..so I guess Stacey is it this season…
