In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Stacey clashes with Tia and Keiarna. Plus, Wendy receives some tea from Monique about Karen’s friend Cookie. Here are the highlights for Episode 8.
Monique doesn’t care about Stacey and Chris dating in the past.
The episode begins with the continuation of Keiarna putting Stacey on blast for dating Chris Samuels in front of Monique. In a confessional, Stacey says she has no idea why Keiarna and others are trying to make her something she is not. She knows Chris socially, and that is it.
Monique tells Keiarna that it is fine for Chris to date because they have been divorced for two years. In a confessional, Monique tells producers that she didn’t want Chris anymore. So he can date whoever he pleases. She just wants whoever he ends up with to be good with their children.
Keiarna defends her actions in her confessional and claims that Stacey has underhanded ways that she has caught on to. So she didn’t think it was wrong to make sure Monique knew Stacey dated Chris.
Angel talks with Bobby about the frustrations she’s having with the group. While it was Gizelle who called her a catfish, she is disappointed at Wendy for “adding sauce” to the moment. And this is something she needs to address soon.
Monique gives some background information to Wendy about Karen’s friend Cookie.
Wendy and Monique catch up at a restaurant. They didn’t really get a chance to get to know each other because of the altercation that took place between Monique and Candiace. Regardless, Wendy understands that people can change. So she is open to getting to know Monique for herself.
Both women discuss where they stand with Gizelle. Wendy sees Gizelle as a friend now. As for Monique, she’s open to talking to Gizelle despite their messy history.
When they discuss Karen, Monique is surprised to hear that Wendy feels like Karen dumped her as a friend before she began her sentence for her DUI conviction.
Karen’s friend, Cookie, is someone Monique no longer speaks to. Monique thinks it’s interesting that Cookie has now become some sort of representative for Karen. She introduced Cookie to Karen before they fell out.
She met Cookie back in 2007 at Chris’ birthday party. Chuck Brown was there to perform, and Cookie lied about being Chuck’s daughter, which Monique found to be very strange.
Monique says Cookie was a fake friend to her who talked about her behind her back. So she has no interest in being around Cookie.
Stacey is brought up. Monique thinks Stacey may be the kind of person who likes to sit back and take notes on people before becoming like them. So Wendy should pay attention.
Tension forms between Tia and Stacey.
Tia comes out to meet Stacey’s ex-husband and boyfriend Thiemo while Stacey’s daughter Arabella is at swim practice. Stacey tells Tia she isn’t comfortable with Thiemo meeting any of the other women. He isn’t optimistic about being around them after some of the things Stacey has shared with him.
Stacey and Wendy go on a double date with their husbands, Eddie and Rob. Tia brings up Stacey, telling her she wasn’t comfortable with any of the other women meeting Thiemo. Wendy takes it upon herself to call Stacey on speakerphone to get to the bottom of it. Stacey apologizes and accuses Tia of trying to ruin her friendship with Wendy before the call ends.
They also discuss Angel. Apparently, Angel told Tia and the others that Wendy was the first one to call her a catfish and not Gizelle. Wendy says this is not true. Producers then flashback to Gizelle being the first one to call Angel a catfish.
Wendy feels like Keiarna and Angel are obsessed with her, and they are trying to create a problem that isn’t there.
Stacey takes on Cookie and Keiarna.
When all the women are back together again, Stacey confronts Tia. She thinks Tia treats her differently when they aren’t around the others. Tia tells Stacey not to let the accent fool her. Stacey sarcastically claps and says “bravo” in response.
Keiarna then calls out Stacey again. She claims Cookie told her that Stacey called Chris Samuels and told him Monique said he was bad in bed. Stacey says this is not true, and Cookie comes around to back up Keiarna. She dares Stacey to lie in front of her, and Wendy steps in to have Stacey’s back.
Wendy tells Cookie and the others that Monique isn’t there to speak for herself, but she did say that Cookie talks badly about her. So the conversation shouldn’t be had without Monique being there.
Stacey points at Cookie, and Cookie dares her to do it again. Stacey says she will point her finger where she pleases and then moves closer to Cookie to point at her again. As Cookie gets riled up, security steps in to walk her away.
Stacey and Keiarna argue. As Stacey denies telling Chris Samuels anything about Monique, Keiarna says she wouldn’t trust Stacey around her husband. Stacey reminds Keiarna that she doesn’t have one. Wendy laughs, and the episode ends on a cliffhanger before Keiarna responds.
