In the latest episode of “Power Book IV: Force,” Tommy and Diamond solve their D-Mac problem. Plus, Stacy and Claudia agree to a new plan to take down Tommy. Here is the recap for “Time to See the King.”

D-Mac gets his wish.

Tommy confronts Diamond and Jenard for letting D-Mac join CBI. After Jenard and D-Mac leave Tommy and Diamond alone to talk, Diamond tells Tommy that D-Mac killed Mad Dog because he killed Leon. D-Mac wanted to impress Diamond and figured slaying Mad Dog would do it. Mad Dog was King Kilo’s nephew, so Kilo wants D-Mac dead.

Diamond claims he only allowed D-Mac to join CBI to keep him close and buy more time.

Tommy takes the gun D-Mac used to kill Mad Dog.

Stacy Marks learns from her estranged husband, Detective Bobby DiFranco, that fentanyl is behind the deaths of local college students. It’s likely the Marquez cartel is the supplier.

Tommy gives D-Mac’s old gun to Vic. Vic’s next job is to donate a large sum of money to Stacy’s mayoral campaign, but make it seem like the donation came from Tommy.

Jenard’s reputation becomes a problem for Shanti.

Stacy applies more pressure to Claudia. Since she won’t agree to snitch on the Marquez cartel, she must get Tommy to confirm he has been moving drugs for the Estrada cartel on audio. If she doesn’t get this done, Stacy will let the cartel know Claudia has been talking to her. So Claudia enlists her girlfriend, Elise, to record him on her phone.

Tommy and Diamond meet with the Sons of Destruction leader, Rashan. Rashan wants out of the Coalition and isn’t trying to hear what Tommy has to say. The Sons of Destruction are done with the Coalition. However, Rashan’s right-hand man, Malik, slipped a note to Tommy, insisting they meet later that night. So Tommy thinks they should hand Rashan over to Kilo instead of D-Mac.

Bill Tseng, the Assistant United States Attorney working with Stacy, has a relationship with the Marquez cartel. He’s going to make sure she fumbles the case and then use Claudia to take down Tommy. His plan is to replace Stacy.

Malik tells Tommy that Rashan has been making moves to get in good with the Marquez cartel. But many in the crew have sided with Malik. So Tommy will use the upcoming meeting Rashan has with the cartel to get even.

Shanti almost gets Manny Fresh to agree to working together to grow their own drug empire until Manny finds out Shanti is dating Jenard. Manny tells Shanti that Jenard is a junkie who stole her father’s chain from her. She will not work with him or anyone he associates with.

Tommy catches Elise in the act.

Tommy gives Che stacks of cash the next time he and Diamond meet with him. The cash is supposed to lessen the blow that the ongoing feud with the Marquez cartel may have caused. Despite Miguel’s attempt to talk Che out of it, Che agrees to triple the amount of drugs he gives CBI. Tommy promises he can sell more drugs without it getting violent in the streets.

Jenard promises to fix things with Manny after Shanti says his reputation is holding her back.

Claudia’s plan to have Elise secretly record Tommy fails. He catches Elise and tells her to tell Claudia he said hello. Elise won’t be so lucky the next time.

Miguel is able to get Ortega to side with him by giving him a burner phone and a woman to “orally please” him in prison.

Jenard finds Joey, a drug addict he hung out with when he was on drugs. Joey is wearing Manny’s chain, which Jenard sold him the last time they saw each other. After Joey refuses to sell the chain back to Jenard, Jenard convinces him to try the fentanyl product that has been killing people. Jenard takes the chain after Joey quickly meets his demise.

Stacy and Claudia have a new plan.

Jenard gives the chain back to Manny with an apology and lots of cash. She promises to work with Shanti.

Tommy and Diamond kill Rashan. The plan to have him take the fall for D-Mac is going smoothly. King Kilo will get a body.

JP and D-Mac hash things out. D-Mac apologizes for calling JP a slur, and JP accepts his apology.

Claudia convinces Stacy to release her from prison to pursue Tommy. The plan is to let Tommy try to kill her so he can be charged with attempted murder, and Claudia must also testify against Ortega.

Vic texts Tommy to alert him about Claudia being released.

Tommy prepares to catch his prey.
