On the latest episode of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” LaTisha opens up about her altercation with Nell as the group heads to Bessemer for Wanda’s food truck debut. Tension from the Fletchers’ game night follows them into the trip, and Wanda quickly inserts herself into the drama.
Here are the highlights for “Wanda-Ful Chaos.”
Latricia opens up to LaTisha about starting therapy.
Latricia meets with LaTisha and admits she has been struggling with recurring anger issues that affect her family, friends, and anyone who presses “the smallest button.” She shares that she has begun seeing a therapist to understand why she explodes so quickly. She says she’s trying to become better for herself, her kids, and the people around her. LaTisha is supportive and tells her that this work will strengthen every relationship in her life. She also says she’s proud to see her taking the step toward healing.
As their conversation lightens, LaTisha invites her on a quick trip to Bessemer to visit her hometown and her mother’s food truck. Latricia declines because it falls on her daughter’s birthday. LaTisha takes it in stride and says she hoped Latricia could experience where she’s from.
LaTisha, Latricia, Nell, and Chris revisit the tension from game night.
Later, LaTisha and Latricia discuss what happened at Nell and Chris’ game night. LaTisha says she felt calm throughout the conversation until the voices began to rise. Latricia admits she shut down once the energy in the room became too elevated.
Meanwhile, Nell tells Chris that she didn’t believe she was yelling and felt the group kept pressing her with questions. She says this made things escalate. She also says she accepted Kimmi’s public apology, but remains guarded.
The women then revisit the issue involving Nell’s granddaughter. Questions arise about why Nell left their LA trip early. Nell insists she never meant for family matters to be dragged into group conversations. Latricia suggests Nell may have said something in anger without realizing it. LaTisha feels Nell escalated things unnecessarily.
Nell ends the conversation with Chris by saying she and LaTisha still are not speaking and that she’s tired of constantly defending herself and her family.
Latricia digs deeper into her past during her session with Dr. Francis.
Latricia meets with Dr. Francis and opens up about her family dynamic. She says she has two children and has been separated from their father for six years. Latricia explains that although the relationship ended physically, emotional residue remained. This made it difficult to fully trust Ken. As she describes how involved Ken is in her children’s lives, Latricia admits she felt unexpectedly jealous when the kids began turning to him instead of her. She tells Dr. Francis that losing that sense of being the “center” of her children’s world made her feel like she was experiencing another loss.
Dr. Francis challenges her to explore where that feeling truly comes from. He asks whether her reactions stem from unresolved hurt. Latricia eventually acknowledges that past losses — especially the loss of her parents — have made her guarded. She says she became closed off to avoid more pain and used humor to mask her discomfort. By the end of the session, she breaks down emotionally and admits it’s time to confront her past trauma. She says opening up feels like lifting a weight off her and that she must address these issues directly.
Kimmi, LaTisha, and Destiny revisit the Fletchers’ game night while riding to Bessemer.
On a sprinter van headed to Bessemer to visit Miss Wanda’s food truck, Kimmi, LaTisha, and Destiny finally unpack the confrontation from the Fletchers’ game night. Destiny says she asked Nell multiple times to stop yelling. She says even Latricia leaned over to confirm Nell’s voice was raised. Kimmi says the moment Nell felt the group was “ganging up” on her, the argument intensified. She points out that both Nell and LaTisha have lingering sensitivity around past comments about their husbands.
As they continue the drive, Kimmi brings up something Nell said during their private sit-down. Nell suggested LaTisha needs to worry about “that girl in the video.” Nell was referring to an interview a woman did with Martell in which she alleged to sleeping with Marsau and Maurice.
LaTisha quickly shuts the idea down and says she has never been concerned about another woman. To shift the conversation, she asks Destiny for an update on her dating life. Destiny shares that she booked an independent film role that requires boxing training.
She says she and “Mr. Googly Eyes” have discussed working together and acknowledged their mutual attraction. She clarifies that although people assume she dates multiple men at once, she is not sleeping with anyone casually.
Latricia opens up to Ken about her jealousy and what she learned in therapy.
After her session with Dr. Francis, Latricia meets up with Ken and tells him she’s been working hard to understand her emotional triggers. She explains the “pistachio” metaphor Dr. Francis used. Latricia says it means she’s still guarded and hasn’t fully opened up to anyone. She admits she isn’t used to talking about her feelings, even with him. Ken encourages her to lean on him more and says he’s proud she finally started therapy. He hopes she’ll apply what she’s learning so they can move forward as a stronger couple.
Latricia then reveals something she hadn’t said out loud before. She used to feel jealous when her son Xavier would call Ken instead of her. She tells Ken that after years of being the only parent her kids relied on, watching them go to someone else felt like she was “losing” them. Ken reassures her that it would never happen. He says he understands why the adjustment has been difficult.
They both acknowledge past disagreements and how quickly things can escalate. Ken apologizes for the hurtful things he’s said and makes it clear he still wants a future with her.
The ladies support Wanda as she launches her food truck business.
LaTisha arrives in Bessemer with the group and proudly celebrates Wanda’s big moment. It is the official debut of her food truck. She explains how proud she is that Wanda followed through on her dream and never missed a day while preparing for launch.
When Kimmi and Destiny arrive, Wanda wastes no time joking around while taking their steak orders. Kimmi admits she’s always nervous meeting Wanda because things can shift quickly. Still, the women are supportive and soak in the excitement of Wanda’s first day.
As they sit to eat, Destiny blesses the food. The group compliments the truck and Wanda’s photo on the side. LaTisha explains that this is Wanda’s first time officially serving customers. She calls the location “great” and says she is proud to see her mother’s hard work materialize. The mood stays upbeat as everyone digs in and settles into Wanda’s new venture.
LaTisha fills Wanda in on the drama with Nell, sparking a reaction.
While they’re at the food truck, Wanda asks about the ride to Bessemer. LaTisha uses the moment to explain the tension between her and Nell. She tells Wanda that Chris made comments about the men in their group and says these comments eventually affected her own marriage.
She also says she refuses to argue with Nell because she’s older. LaTisha admits she wants Wanda to speak to Nell directly since she doesn’t want to go back and forth with an elder. Kimmi immediately says involving Wanda is a bad idea. She notes that both women “pop off” and that the match-up is a disaster waiting to happen.
As LaTisha continues, Wanda gets worked up and insists she will return to Huntsville to confront Nell. She thinks Nell brought drama to her child’s doorstep. Kimmi and Destiny warn that stirring the pot will only make things worse. Kimmi calls the idea of Wanda and Nell meeting “horrible.” Destiny says it feels like LaTisha is sending Wanda to fight her battles. Wanda says she’s ready to have the conversation whenever needed.
Wanda presses Kimmi about Martell’s interview and infidelity allegations.
While everyone is gathered at the food truck, Wanda shifts the mood and starts questioning Kimmi about Martell’s recent interview. She asks about the accusations made involving Maurice and Marsau. She tells Kimmi she never replied publicly and wants to know how she truly feels about the claims. Kimmi responds calmly and says she and Maurice discussed it privately. She also says she didn’t give the interview much attention because she found it ridiculous.
Wanda pushes harder and repeats details from the allegation. She insists Kimmi should at least consider the claims. Kimmi stands firm and says she doesn’t believe the woman who made them. She says she has never been given a reason to doubt her husband.
Wanda suggests Kimmi is in denial and says she should be more cautious. She implies Kimmi once believed parts of the story. LaTisha jumps in to redirect the moment and reminds Wanda that the group came to support her food truck and not discuss rumors.
