In the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” Amara tells her side of things after Miami Tip comes to her with more accusations. Rada gives Michael an ultimatum as his side chick prepares for labor. Here are the highlights for “The Truth Hurts.”
Michael’s life continues to spiral after Rada gives birth.
Rada gives birth. Michael missed the birth because he went to the wrong hospital. To keep the peace at the moment, Rada has decided not to tell her family that Michael has another baby on the way with Nadia, one of his side chicks. While Rada’s loved ones tend to her, Michael leaves to talk to Nadia. He questions whether she sent a DM to Claudia Jordan about their situation. She’s annoyed by the question and wonders what she would have gained from speaking to Claudia. Either way, she has a maternity shoot coming up. Michael needs to be there, but she’s not really sure he’s someone she can trust anymore.

Amara addresses Allan’s arrest.
Amara, Shay, and Eliza catch up at an event being hosted by Chyng Diamond’s manager. Eliza asks Amara about Allan’s recent arrest, and Amara says the situation has nothing to do with her. She was at the airport the day Allan was arrested there because she has investment property in the Dominican Republic. While she is aware of what Allan was charged with, she will not share that information because it hasn’t been released to the public yet.

Joy’s sister Samantha and Gaelle later make it to the function. Shay goes off on Gaelle after she encourages Samantha to make peace with Joy. She and Amara drag Gaelle. They don’t believe she’s changed at all.

Rada gives Michael an ultimatum.
Claudia visits Rada and the baby while Michael is over. He tries to call her out for telling Rada about his side chick being pregnant. Claudia has no regrets and lets the comedian know that her loyalty to her friends is important. She tells Michael he should cut off his side chicks. Michael says he doesn’t want to do that, and he “only” has three currently.
Rada slams him when he says he’s going to LA to get some clothes. She tells him he can’t visit Nadia or be there for their baby’s birth. If Michael doesn’t cut off Nadia and wash his hands of the baby, Rada is done with him.

Amara tells her side of the story.
Sonyae, Miami Tip, and Hawt Topic confront Amara in the studio. Amara once again says she didn’t find out Allan was married until three months into their relationship. Allan asked her to write up a fake contract about him dating her for the show because he didn’t want issues with his wife.

After Tip says Allan’s wife, Gina, told her that Amara offered to pay her to divorce Allan, Amara says this never happened. She also denies having anything to do with Allan’s arrest. At this point, she feels like Allan played her and Gina. So she just wants to move on with her life.

What are your thoughts on the episode?
I watched last night. It was a really great episode. I was very bothered at how Miami Tip was interrogating Amara. It was so apparent that Tip was extremely jealous of Amara. Tip pressed about the details of somebody else’s life was hilarious to see played out. And for her to meet with Allan’s wife was beyond cringe. Both she and Hawt Topic interrogating Amara like they were on episode of Law and Order was so over the top. Amara should have told them both to kick rocks! But it’s good TV and I’m hopelessly locked in at this point. 🥰😊
