Monique Samuels had some things to say about Chris Samuels and Cookie in her latest interviews.
Monique Samuels and Stacey Rusch discussed Chris Samuels during the most recent episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” It was said that Stacey dated Chris before she reconciled with Thiemo Rusch. When Keiarna Stewart revealed this to Monique in the previous episode, Monique was completely unfazed. She told Keiarna that she and Chris have been divorced for a couple of years now. So she doesn’t care who he dates, as long as they are good with their children.
Chris came up again in the group after Keiarna alleged that Stacey had recently told Chris that Monique had badmouthed him. Keiarna said Karen Huger‘s friend, Cookie. This came after Monique told the other women what made her walk away from the marriage. Monique said Chris would be the man she wanted when he wanted to sleep with her, and then go back to being problematic afterward. It felt like she was being objectified.
Stacey denied going back to Chris to tell him what was said. She also showed Monique the text messages Chris sent her that she did not respond to. Stacey wanted to show Monique that Chris was the one who had reached out to her, and she didn’t reply.
In a confessional, Monique said she wasn’t sure if Stacey told the truth or not. But she doesn’t trust Cookie because she lied about being Chuck Brown’s daughter. Monique also alleged that she stopped being friends with Cookie because she learned that Cookie had badmouthed her behind her back.
Well, Monique had more to say about Cookie and Chris during an interview with Angela Yee.
She was asked about the video that recently went viral on social media. In the video, Monique was getting cozy with her former radio co-host, Jason. According to Monique, Jason was married but going through a private separation from his wife.
“When I was going through the divorce, I was separated but still living in the same house. Jason and I were great friends. We never spent any time outside of the studio, nothing like that. As I was going through the whole divorce process, the separation, everything like that, he was giving me this advice that I was like you have been through something to be able to give me this type of advice. We started to have an amazing friendship outside of work. And I started to learn some things about what he was going through. So we connected on that level. Him being separated and living in the same house, but people not knowing because obviously it’s not out there like that.”
She added, “In a reality TV space, mine was more public, and it was a friendship that was genuinely a friendship that turned very emotionally connected, and then it turned romantic. The reason this video is out there right now is because my ex-husband actually leaked it.”
Monique went on to allege that Chris had been showing the video to multiple people. It was a former friend who sent it to him.
“He actually got it from a former friend of mine. You know, when you go through a divorce, you lose some friends, you lose some family. It blew my mind. So for whatever reason, this particular former friend, we were cool and for whatever reason…and she was the only person I was sharing this information with…her and my mom. And she ended up giving it to him, and he used it as an intimidation tactic because he did not want me back on reality TV, he’s afraid of my book coming out, so he’s been showing it.”
She added, “So people, like in a reality TV world, on social media, they think they know who he is. But he’s a completely different person. Thanks to me, people think he is what he is.”
Monique alleged that the video was leaked by one of Cookie’s Twitter pages.
“It just got really nasty recently. There’s a friend that’s been on the show, Cookie; she and I stopped talking years ago. It’s really interesting because it initially got leaked on one of her very well-known fake Twitter pages.”
She continued, “But you know what’s crazy? He tried to use that video to intimidate me from coming back. And I got to the point where I was like, you know what? Whatever. Do what you gon do. So then it was like, ‘I ain’t gon do that, you still the mother of my children.’ But he still did it, and then he’s even intimidating the other parties. Reached out in Instagram DMs like call me, I need to talk and then threatening, I’ma put this out on social media. So this wasn’t a surprise. I just didn’t know when…and the video is two years old.”

And in another interview, Monique alleged that she and Chris cut off Cookie years ago because she was going around telling people that she was having an affair with Chris, but he was staying with Monique because of their kids. So it was surprising to hear that Chris was associating with Cookie again.
