In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Gizelle and Monique hash things out despite their messy history. Plus, Stacey continues to have tension with Tia and Ashley. Here is the recap for “Blunt Truths.”
Gizelle needs to see proof that Monique has changed.
Wendy meets Gizelle while she is shopping at Mercedes-Benz for an electric car. They discuss Stacey. Wendy likes Stacey but does find it a bit weird that she may be trying to mimic her. First, it was the Happy Eddie situation, and now, recently, Stacey has reached out to Wendy’s stylist to work together. Gizelle thinks Stacey is a certified liar, so she tells Wendy that Stacey deserved to be ganged up on by the group. However, Gizelle is willing to back off at this point because she has no more energy left for Stacey. She doesn’t even want to engage anymore.
They then switch topics to Monique once Gizelle starts test-driving a vehicle. Wendy enjoyed seeing Monique again and noticed that Monique is different now that she’s divorced. Gizelle isn’t so sure Monique has changed just yet. So she wants to have a sit-down and see where her head’s at. If Monique is the same woman she was five years ago, Gizelle is not interested in being around her.
Stacey hangs out with her best friend, AJ. She vents about not being in a good place with the group and how she always feels like they are coming for her. AJ tells Stacey that it is time for her to stand up for herself and remember she is from Detroit.
Since she has invited everyone to celebrate the launch of her cannabis business, Stacey may have to use the event as an opportunity to clear the air.

Josh and Ashley’s time together comes to an end.
Ashley goes on her last date with Josh. They have been dating for a year. Ashley tells him that she realized they do not have much of a future together. He’s younger than her, and he’s not where he needs to be financially to give her the lifestyle she wants.
Josh is taken aback by this and argues that Ashley doesn’t know anything about his finances. Regardless, Ashley’s mind is made up. It’s over.

Monique and Gizelle make peace.
Gizelle and Monique meet to hash things out. Monique says her real issue with Gizelle stemmed from her accusing Monique of having an affair with her trainer years ago. But things were put in perspective when she saw Gizelle’s daughter recently, and she immediately felt bad about the things she has said about Gizelle and Jamal.
Gizelle appreciates this and apologizes for her actions. She goes on to say that she thought Monique wanted the drama she was caught up in with Candiace.
Monique says she never wanted the altercation to happen. It’s just that at that time, so much stuff had been piled on her. But it’s no excuse, and the way she reacted was terrible. She understands that she was under a lot of pressure, being married to a public figure and being obsessed with keeping up a certain image. But that was the old her.
Both women agree that in the future, if they have an issue, they will talk it out before trashing each other. They hug before departing.

Ashley is there for her little sis.
Greg takes Angel and Keiarna’s mother ring shopping. Angel is excited for Keiarna and hopes Greg finds the perfect engagement ring.

Ashley has an emotional conversation with her younger sister, Jessica. Jessica’s father is Sheila’s partner. He has had a drinking problem for years, and it’s been affecting Jessica as long as she can remember. After she breaks down in tears about the situation, Ashley assures her that she will always be there for her.

Stacey clashes with Ashley and Tia.
It’s the day of Stacey’s launch for her cannabis business, Shayo. Gizelle and Keiarna declined their invitations. Jassi, Tia, and Ashley come out to support.
Ashley and Stacey argue over their contentious relationship. Stacey wants Ashley to stop coming for her, and Ashley wants Stacey to stop telling lies.

When Tia and Stacey attempt to hash things out, they don’t get far either. Stacey feels like Tia was being messy when she told Wendy that Stacey’s husband Thiemo didn’t want to be around her and Eddie. She says Thiemo didn’t like the way Wendy and Eddie handled the TJ situation at the last reunion.
After a little more back and forth, Stacey kicks Tia out of the event.
