Dr. Simone Whitmore’s explosive “Married to Medicine” scene with her family is a hot topic on social media.

Married to Medicine” fans had a lot to say about Dr. Simone Whitmore‘s explosive scene with Cecil Whitmore and their two sons. In the scene, Simone confronted their son Michael about amassing a $60,000 credit card bill. Michael didn’t show any remorse. He still expected Simone to buy him a Tesla and pay for his law school tuition. Simone said she had to pay for her education with loans and scholarships.  Michael said he’s in a different situation because Simone makes a lot of money. So he couldn’t understand why Simone wouldn’t pay for all of his schooling so that he could become a millionaire after graduation, like his rich white peers.

Simone went off after Cecil said that Michael’s points were valid. She questioned when she would ever be able to retire if she had to keep paying for everything. Simone also accused Cecil of never having her back when it comes to their sons.

She later told the ladies that she doesn’t want to be married anymore.

Dr. Simone Whitmore was not here for Cecil Whitmore comparing himself to a former Real Housewife.

Cecil, Simone, and Michael addressed the scene on Instagram Live. Simone was taken aback when Cecil compared himself to former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer.

He said, “I kinda feel like Camille Grammar tonight watching the show. And for the people that watch Bravo will know what I’m talking about.”

Simone responded, “I watch a lot of Bravo, and I watched Camille Grammer on the Housewives of Beverly Hills. Explain what you mean by saying you feel like Camille Grammer.”

Cecil said, “Well, Kelsey Grammer basically put her on the show because he was gonna get a divorce.”

Simone then asks, “And so you felt like this season you were on the show so I could get a divorce?”

After Michael tries to explain Cecil’s point, Cecil says it’s a double-standard issue.

“When I had to interview with Carlos King, if I had got on there and said the same stuff that you were saying, you’d be hurt. And I think you’d have to admit that.”

He adds, “From that scene, they probably only showed five minutes, and we filmed that scene for probably close to an hour. So it was a lot of stuff said. It was a lot of stuff that went on behind the scenes, you don’t get to see.”

Simone thought Cecil was reaching.

“Cecil, to act like that, I’ve never said at all, off camera, this season, about the fact that we were having difficulties…It was getting difficult for me to deal with those difficulties. It’s exhausting. You can never see my point of view with the boys…you throw me under the bus with the boys. You disrespect me when it…”

Michael interjects, “I don’t think Dad’s saying he…”

Simone continues, “Well, Camille Grammer was caught completely off base when Kelsey wanted to divorce her.”

She adds, “And he’s basically comparing himself to Camille Grammer, and I just think it’s weird.”
