In the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” Shay and Amara’s friendship is tested after Miami Tip and Hawt Topic intervene. Here are the highlights for Episode 8.
Tip warns Shay about being too loyal to Amara.
Shay and Miami Tip meet up to discuss the fallout that has taken place between Tip and Amara La Negra. Tip says she has been talking to Allan’s wife, Yina, to get to the truth of things. Yina suspects Amara and Shay are responsible for Allan’s arrest because Shay’s oldest brother went to college with Allan.
Shay thinks it’s ridiculous that she and Amara are being blamed for this. She points out that Allan was arrested due to a case that was recently reopened. They had nothing to do with this, nor do they have that kind of power in the justice system. Regardless, Tip thinks the timing is suspect since the arrest didn’t occur until Yina was supposed to begin filming the show.
Tip feels Shay goes hard for Amara, but the loyalty isn’t returned. Shay says she will continue to ride for Amara, but a conversation with Yina is needed.

Yina and Shay talk.
Shay meets up with Hawt Topic, Miami Tip, and Yina at one of Chyng Diamond’s events. She immediately asks Yina why she thinks that she and Amara set Allan up to be arrested. Shay says she doesn’t like Allan, but she would never put Amara’s baby daddy in jail because it would negatively impact her friend and her children.
Yina blames Amara for Allan’s unfaithfulness. Shay thinks this is absurd and tells Yina that Allan likely cheated on her with multiple women. So it makes no sense that she doesn’t seem to take her anger out on him.
Hawt Topic tells Shay she’s going hard for Amara, but Amara didn’t do the same when Shay was pulled into the allegations. So Shay needs to talk to Amara.

Shay confronts Amara the next time they hang out. She questions why Amara didn’t defend her when she was also accused of working with Amara to get Allan locked up. Amara reminds Shay that she didn’t defend herself either and this is because she is tired of the drama. This excuse isn’t enough for Shay so the women agree to end their friendship.

I can’t with these girls, they let anybody turn their loyalty from one another. Let someone say their friend didn’t say anything about their defense and they’re not friends anymore. Tip is just using Alan’s wife for a storyline because she doesn’t have a real one, except to cause division between people. I’m so happy that Trina ain’t letting anything sway her into this BS. Unlike Joy, Tip and the others. I think this is my last year watching this show, there’s no supporting any friends or women here.
I hate to see 👀 that Shay and Amara relationship is not the same anymore. I don’t understand just like Shay why her and her family is DRAGGED into something that no one can even know if it’s the truth or not.
