Tamar Braxton said she is done with “The Braxtons.”

The most recent season of “The Braxtons” highlighted the ongoing contention between the sisters. Tamar Braxton and Towanda Braxton clashed ahead of Towanda’s wedding. Tamar believed Towanda picked a wedding date close to her birthday out of spite.

She was also upset about receiving a cease and desist after she invited their niece to her podcast. When the sisters came together to discuss how they were going to care for Evelyn Braxton post surgery, Tamar called them out. She questioned how the family attorney got her address. Towanda and Trina Braxton denied having anything to do with it. Regardless, the meeting became chaotic. Tamar and Toni nearly fought. Trina was assaulted by Tamar while trying to get between them. Towanda had a drink swatted in her direction.

Towanda disinvited Tamar from her wedding. Tamar was able to hash things out with Trina and Toni during a sister retreat. So fans of “The Braxtons” figured Towanda and Tamar would work things out next season.

Well, it looks as if fans won’t be seeing Tamar and Towanda make peace on “The Braxtons” next season.

Tamar recently told her fans that she is done with the show.

“I wanted to address that kind of, sort of. It’s not that the show is canceled. It’s not that people were like oh we don’t want that show to come back ‘cause it didn’t do no numbers because we all know it did a lot of numbers, and it always do a lot of numbers. I just don’t want to do it anymore, and I’m standing on that.”

She continued, “I don’t want to do it anymore. It’s not healthy, and I have a lot of other things that are really showing who I am now and not who I used to be, the person who you all grew up with.”

Tamar also said she was vindicated.

“That’s why everybody is so confused and calling me all these names, ‘cause all you have to go by is who I was ten years ago, because everything that everybody else has said about me has been a lie, and that has been vindication. Thank you!”
