Ashley Darby responds to her critics.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Ashley Darby has been in the headlines lately over her messy fallout with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. Interestingly, some fans of the show have taken to social media to call out what they feel is Ashley’s lack of a storyline.
Ashley was asked about this during a recent interview on the “Morally Corrupt” podcast.
The interviewer said, “What do you say because I feel like we do this as a podcaster, as a fan of the show, we’ll watch somebody for a number of seasons and years and then say, we feel like they don’t have much of a storyline…for people who are saying to you, we didn’t really get that much from Ashley. What do you have to say to that? And do you think we’ll see more from you next season?”
Ashley answered, “I have given blood, sweat, and tears to this show. Do you hear me? It’s a gripe that I have because I actually did film quite a bit. I don’t know where it went. But that’s for me to deal with, with the powers to be. Yeah, I mean, it’s different. My life looks very different. It’s a little more peaceful.”
She continued, “And there are different challenges now that I’m taking on. So, for people to say that I don’t have a story, I don’t really care if that’s what you feel. I’m sorry to hear that you have that feeling. I’m living, I’m loving, and I’m thriving.”
