Quad Webb’s motherhood journey has been tough.
“Married to Medicine” star Quad Webb recently confirmed her breakup with King via a statement to TMZ. The statement came after some of King’s Instagram comments went viral on blogs and social media. He told a few of his Instagram admirers that he is the one who walked away from the relationship. In response, Dr. Heavenly Kimes gave her thoughts to Carlos King. She said she didn’t like how King was moving, and unlike him, Quad kept it classy. She now thinks that it may be a blessing that Quad and King didn’t have a child together.
In the upcoming episode, Quad shares some sad news.
She says, “I’m going through this IVF process. It’s been tough. We worked very, very hard to get eggs. Things seemed to be working well. They began to fertilize. But none of them made it.”
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe consoles Quad, “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.”
Quad is heartbroken.
“I feel so low, y’all.”
Dr. Jackie Walters wipes a tear away and tells producers this was hard for her, too.
“This is the hard part of being your friend’s doctor because right now I want to maintain my doctor role and keep my face straight and not drop a tear. But oh, as a friend, my heart’s breaking.”
Quad begins to blame herself for the outcome. She regrets not taking Jackie and Dr. Simone Whitmore’s advice. Years ago, they told Quad to freeze her eggs.
“I feel so stupid for the years that I had…listen, for the years that I had that I did not go and freeze my eggs like you were telling me, and you were telling me…for the years I had y’all. I completely missed the mark.”
Jackie and the others tell Quad not to blame herself. She should keep trying.
“Quad, I told you to quit going backwards. Go forward.”
