In the latest episode of “Married to Medicine,” Toya and Heavenly have tension over the upcoming Med Gala during the couples’ trip. Here are the highlights for “What Happens in Jamaica Stays in Jamaica.”
Eugene and Toya’s couples trip is already being criticized.
Toya and Eugene discuss the upcoming couples’ trip to Jamaica. Simone made Toya and Eugene the hosting couple. In the past, Toya has expressed disapproval of single people coming. But she is no longer going to fight that fight in an attempt to keep things peaceful. Meanwhile, Mimi and Angel say they do not think it’s a good idea for Toya to host any trip. Mimi in particular doesn’t see Toya as a “safe space.”
Toya and Heavenly argue over the Med Gala.
When the cast makes it to Jamaica, Heavenly and Toya clash over the Med Gala. Heavenly calls Toya out for not letting Damon finish speaking and Toya reminds Heavenly that Damon interrupted her first.
Heavenly says Toya was put in charge of planning the Med Gala to teach her a lesson and she and Eugene should apologize for contributing nothing but wine in the past. Eugene refuses to apologize and says the guests drank the wine.
There is plenty of drama coming ahead.
As the group finishes up their volunteer work, the men talk about being supportive partners. Damon didn’t really want Heavenly involved in politics. But he chose to support her when he realized she was really serious and passionate.
King understands this. However, his IVF journey with Quad has become stressful. In a green screen interview, he says he doesn’t think that it’s best for their relationship to continue with the process.
Toya thanks everyone for contributing to a successful day. Producers then flash forward to multiple people arguing in future episodes. Damon and Eugene have tension over the arrest of Damon and Heavenly’s son. Meanwhile, Quad and King become outraged as their baby journey is questioned because they aren’t married.
