‘Married to Medicine’ Husband Dr. Eugene Harris Calls out Dr. Damon Kimes

Dr. Eugene Harris thinks Dr. Damon Kimes doesn’t hold Dr. Heavenly Kimes accountable enough.

“Married to Medicine” star Toya Bush-Harris has been receiving some pushback from some of the ladies after Dr. Jackie Walters put her in charge of planning the Med Gala. During a recent episode, Dr. Heavenly Kimes said that the decision was made to teach Toya a lesson. Toya was called out last season for donating wine to the event and not cash.

This comment did not sit well with Dr. Eugene Harris. When Heavenly said that Toya and Eugene ought to apologize, Eugene flat out refused. He pointed out that the guests drank the wine.

Eugene discusses this matter with the other husbands in the upcoming episode. In particular, he feels like Dr. Damon Kimes doesn’t hold Heavenly accountable.

“If you’re gonna do right is right, then there was some wrong on that part, too. Any comments from the peanut gallery?”

In a confessional, Cecil Whitmore says:

“Oh ****. Eugene ain’t letting it go.”

Damon says, “The thing I want to say, though, man, we have strong women, man. I think Heavenly can hold her own. I think any of our wives can hold their own because they are strong women.”

Eugene isn’t going for it.

“Time out on that. I’m gonna say one last thing, and I’m not going to say nothing else about it. Y’all can just continue. It was said yesterday that, ‘We wanted Toya to be in charge to see it fail.’ Who said that? It was said.”

Damon doesn’t think anything worthwhile will come from finger-pointing.

“This whole finger-pointing stuff is a waste of time. The bottom line is this. Either we’re going to do the event, and we’re going to pitch in and going to help out, or we’re not. So that’s it.”

Eugene doesn’t back down.

“I’m not going to mention nobody’s name, but it was said, and it’s wrong,” he says.

Damon responds, “And I appreciate that.”

Eugene says he is paying close attention to how Damon handled this.

“He’s staying silent on behaviors that I know their family would not like. I know it. But when people show you who they are, you have to believe them.”
