In the latest episode of “Married to Medicine,” Toya and Eugene’s couples trip continues to be tense as the couple grows tired of Heavenly and Damon’s ways.
Here are the highlights for “Red Flag, Green Flag.
Toya and Mimi make progress.
Mimi is put in the hot seat after Simone tells Toya that Mimi questioned if Toya was a safe enough friend to be in charge of a couples’ trip. She clarifies that she had past interactions with Toya that made her unsure. But Mimi and Steve are open to spending more time with Toya and Eugene to get to know them.
In a confessional, Mimi says it is possible for she and Toya to have a great friendship.
Eugene is starting to become frustrated with Damon.
When the women try to discuss the upcoming Med Gala, Heavenly and Toya get into an argument. Heavenly doesn’t think Toya knows what she’s doing, and this sets off Eugene, who insists he and Toya leave the trip if she won’t be respected.
Eugene and Toya later discuss the matter when they’re away from the others. The couple is over Heavenly. Eugene noticed that Damon didn’t come over and tell Heavenly she was wrong, like he used to do, and that was telling. At this point, Eugene is running out of grace.
Meanwhile, Heavenly and Damon talk on a producer cam. They think Eugene should let the women handle their own issues.
The next day, Steve jokes about Eugene storming off the last time they were all together. Eugene uses the moment to discuss his frustration with Heavenly’s behavior, and it ends on a cliffhanger as Damon and the other men realize that he won’t be letting it go anytime soon.
