Dr. Eugene Harris and Steve Sanders exchange words backstage at the ‘Married to Medicine’ reunion.
“Married to Medicine” couple Toya Bush-Harris and Dr. Eugene Harris clashed with Dr. Mimi Sanders and Steve Sanders during the Med Gala. Mimi and Steve felt slighted after Eugene told them they needed to buy a ticket to enter the event. In a confessional, Mimi said it felt personal, and it seems like Toya doesn’t like her that much.
Toya was puzzled by the couple’s offense. She told them others like Brandi Milton and Dr. Simone Whitmore bought their tickets without any issue.
Eugene reminded Steve that the money from ticket sales was going to the scholarship fund recipients. He also apologized to Steve for any misunderstandings.
Well, this all comes up again at the reunion. Backstage, Steve is itching to have a word with Eugene. Dr. Damon Kimes is hoping an argument doesn’t break out.
Damon doesn’t get his wish.
Eugene says, “If you’re trying to include people and they’re pushing back, you just move on, and you make a good event.”
Steve disagrees, “You tried to exclude us when it comes to tickets, but it was never said that we needed to buy a ticket. It was never said that we needed a ticket.”
Eugene responds, “If you didn’t like the way it was run, and you were so out in Jamaica, why the **** were you even there?”
He continues:
“Steve, I can’t imagine that you’re justifying bad behavior. When you come into an event…”
Steve claps back, “You justify bad behavior every day with Toya!”
