On the latest episode of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” LaTricia questions Ken after LaTisha tells her that someone said Ken has been in other women’s DMs. This leads Ken to admit he has messaged women during a rough patch in their relationship. Meanwhile, Destiny opens up about her emotional family reunion in Detroit. The Scott brothers share a heartfelt moment with their father in Pontiac.

Here’s the recap for “Oops! I DM’d Again.”

LaTricia questions Ken after hearing rumors about his DMs.

LaTricia tells Ken that a recent conversation with LaTisha raised concerns about his behavior. She explains that LaTisha said someone told her Ken needed to stay out of other women’s DMs. This immediately caught her attention.

Ken doesn’t deny it. Instead, he admits he has been in “a couple DMs here and there,” but insists it was not serious. He says nothing went beyond messages and adds that his intentions were not to pursue anything deeper.

LaTricia presses him on why he responded at all. Ken points to the distance in their relationship and explains that there were times they went days without speaking. He says he felt ignored, and during those moments, he felt out of touch and lonely. This led to the interactions.

Still, LaTricia makes it clear she doesn’t accept that explanation. She says responding to other women during a rough patch damages trust. Furthermore, she notes she could have made the same choice but didn’t.

Ken shifts the conversation to repairing their relationship. He says he misses their daily interactions and family time and describes his time alone as “really lonely.” LaTricia agrees the relationship needs work. However, she says his actions “threw [her] trust off a little,” making it clear the issue remains unresolved.

The Scott brothers reflect on their upbringing during a visit with their father.

Marsau and Maurice travel to Pontiac to support their uncle’s construction academy. They also take time to check in with their father after noticing his energy seemed off.

Their father admits he once wanted them to pursue trades like plumbing and HVAC. However, he says he has learned to appreciate the paths they chose and now sits back and watches what they have built.

Maurice uses the moment to affirm himself, explaining that people often focus on what went wrong rather than on what went right. He tells his father directly that he “did a hell of a job” raising them. He also reflects on his childhood with pride.

Marsau echoes that sentiment and explains that hearing such validation hits differently as a parent. The moment becomes emotional as both brothers express their appreciation and love.

Later, at the academy event, Marsau and Maurice continue to give back. Marsau announces they will donate materials to support the program and explains the goal is about “building people, not just construction.” Their father also acknowledges the role of mentors. Meanwhile, Marsau adds that it takes a village to shape who they have become.

Destiny reflects on her emotional reunion with her siblings and mother.

Destiny opens up about her trip to Detroit and the impact of finally connecting with her siblings. She says the experience made her feel complete. Destiny explains that having most of her siblings together in one room brought a sense of wholeness to both her and her grandmother.

She shares that her brother expressed disbelief at the possibility of spending time with family members who look like him. Her sister became emotional during the visit. Destiny describes watching those moments as “euphoria.”

However, her interaction with her mother does not provide the same closure. Destiny says she left without exchanging “I love you,” noting her mother responded distantly. Even so, she accepts the moment and focuses on what she gained from the trip.

As the conversation continues, Destiny reflects on her personal growth. She explains that she used to mask her pain and guard herself emotionally. However, she learned in therapy that suppressing pain also blocks the ability to feel love.

LaTisha supports her perspective and says people cannot move forward until they address childhood trauma. Destiny then acknowledges she has not always been fully transparent and explains that, while she answers questions honestly, she does not always volunteer information. She adds that avoiding difficult truths feels more comfortable.

Maurice fills Martell in on Ken and LaTricia’s relationship issues.

Maurice meets with Martell and updates him on the tension between Ken and LaTricia. He reveals that Ken has moved out and is staying in his own apartment.

The conversation turns to rumors that Ken messaged other women. Maurice explains that LaTisha told LaTricia about the situation and says Ken admitted to being in women’s DMs, describing it as a “mutual” exchange. Martell questions what that means and says it sounds like Ken already has one foot out the door.

Maurice agrees that Ken appears checked out, but believes he still cares about the relationship. He explains that Ken may be trying to set boundaries and force change, even if the approach creates more distance.

They also discuss an ongoing construction project Maurice is tied to. He explains that he is trying to secure a house connected to a build Marsau has been working on for about two years. Maurice says the delay comes from poor planning and the project being pushed aside for larger jobs. He also notes that he has a restaurant property nearby, which adds pressure to get everything finished.

Ken confronts Marsau about the DM rumors and questions LaTisha’s role.

Ken meets with Marsau and opens up about the state of his relationship with LaTricia. He confirms that he has been spending more time away from home and now has his own apartment.

Marsau questions that decision, saying that creating distance does not help build a strong foundation. He explains that relationships require effort from both people and that one person’s effort alone cannot fix everything.

Ken responds that they are not married and says stepping away allows him to figure things out. Marsau pushes back, suggesting that moving out could be a way to make LaTricia chase him rather than address the real issues.

The conversation shifts when Ken brings up LaTisha, telling LaTisha about the DM rumors. He questions why that information was shared and says it created unnecessary tension in his relationship.

Marsau reacts with concern and says that kind of situation should not be coming from his household. He adds that he wants to understand the context of what was said. This signals that the issue may extend beyond Ken and LaTricia.

  1. Ken gaslights a lot. Latricia needs to move on. Seems like he’s a gaslighter with a hero complex. She needs to run.
