In the season premiere of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Drew questions Shamea’s YouTube apology, and Porsha postpones confronting Kelli. Here are the highlights for “A Warm Welcome.”
Porsha can be cordial.
Porsha meets up with K. Michelle. The singer just got married to her dentist boo, ******. She’s been busy working on her country album. She was grateful when Beyoncé sent her flowers and said she wanted them to meet one day. This just told K. Michelle she needed to keep working on her dream of doing country music.
She becomes emotional as she reflects on the Atlanta women she clashed with. Porsha tells her not to let herself slip back into bad habits.
Porsha is having a dinner party, and she invited everyone, including Shamea.

A new business could help Shamea contribute to her family’s finances.
Shamea and Kelli catch up. Porsha’s upcoming event is a go for Shamea, even though they fell out at last season’s reunion. Shamea says they exchanged nasty text messages after she watched the episodes.
They switch topics. Shamea started a rum company to contribute financially, since Gerald has been so supportive of her music career.

Shamea and Drew still have tension.
Pinky Cole makes her debut on the show as Shamea’s friend. Her husband joins her as her date for Porsha’s dinner party. Pinky found success with Slutty Vegan. It is a $100 million brand.
After Shamea calls Gerald to get his ETA since he’ll be coming from the airport, he tells her he had to land in Charlotte due to the weather. So Shamea will have to go to the party without him. Shamea later snaps at Drew when she questions where Gerald is.

Porsha brings up the apology video Shamea posted to social media after the reunion aired. Drew thinks the apology wasn’t real because Shamea said she could have gone harder on Drew.
Shamea then calls out Drew for questioning the receipts Angela had against Phaedra at last season’s reunion. Phaedra says Drew told her she didn’t think Angela’s receipts were credible in her dressing room at the reunion. In a green screen interview, Drew says she already told Angela her thoughts. Angela maintains that her receipts add up because someone who claimed to be Phaera’s friend approached at a Hawks game and said they were the one who “had hands.”
Angela took this as a threat. Phaedra claims she saw the footage, and this never happened. In a confessional, Phaedra says she really doesn’t have any footage and hasn’t seen anything. But she did request the footage be reviewed.

Porsha’s date thanks everyone for coming out, and Shamea and Kelli think this is weird. In a confessional, Porsha says her dinner party went well, and she plans to confront Kelli about her comments to the media another time.

In a preview for the next episode, Porsha seemingly misses the opening for Kelli’s restaurant. When Cynthia calls her, Kelli takes the phone to tell Porsha that the flowers Porsha sent were broken.
“Broken flowers from a broken person.”
Porsha is stunned by Kelli’s lack of gratitude.
“That’s the vibe? Okay, well, you go ahead, honey. You enjoy your night. Okay?”
