Whether it’s playing a bad boy or saving the world from vicious aliens, Will Smith always does his thing when it comes to action films.
But he is not the only one in the family who can put up a fight.
Will Smith’s youngest son Jaden will be starring in the remake of 1984 classic film “The Karate Kid”. Smith will be playing an American youth who learns the art of karate from Chinese handyman played by Jackie Chan. Although this may be the first major action film for Jaden, he is no stranger to the big screen. He first debuted starring alongside father Will Smith who actually came up with this new film venture for his son.
“My dad had the idea of remaking it. He’s the one who was like, “We need to make this movie.”” –Jaden Smith
Jaden has already received an award for his role in the movie. And I am sure there will be more to follow. The movie is set to hit theaters on June 11th of this year.
